My Ferrex DO19-16v drill has died, and the two batteries supplied in the kit also cannot be recharged. After reading several comments on this forum, it appears that this is a common problem that Aldi simply does not want to know, nor supply any information about. Are there any compatible batteries available, and if so, can anyone please advise where they are available?

Had exact same issue as J. Brown in the comments (drill starts, stops, starts, stops ...). Is this an 'overload' issue? Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks.

Hello To the ALDI rep. I have had the 16 volt Li-lon for a little over a year. I was "lucky" enough to get the last one in stock. The forward, reverse switch has always been an issue. The lights on the batteries have never illuminated. That aside, I don't abuse it. Now the batteries are a real problem. One will not recharge any more, and the other holds it's charge for about a day, and then goes flat without use. I wish to purchase two new batteries, without regard to warranty. If you can't supply, I will take that as a breach of your obligation to a customer. I await your reply. Regards, Frank Clarey
