Are Thai still available to purchase?
We threw ours out in the rubbish.
Just bought a brand new 2 in 1 rechargeable battery vacuum cleaner from Aldi and the recharge light does not come on at all. No red or green light appears. I have checked all connections and followed the instructions.
Can I leave this item on charge between uses . ?

Mine worked but tried to charge it and doesn't charge just flashes red and green light for a few seconds then stops. Only got it at Christmas. Any ideas?

I have the same problem. There is no explanation of the flashing lights in the troubleshooting section. There is no after sales support on 1800 489. I have called repeatedly and the call disconnects every time while you are on hold before you can speak to anyone. Tried phoning 1300 112 534 but they have no record of the model number on the vacuum and user manual.

Does the red light show continuously when being charged.
I have a blue light that flashes until the charging is complete and then stays blue yes
Ours worked for a year but now only runs for about 5 seconds and stops. The battery is fully charged. Not really satisfactory. Also we bought a doorbell from Aldi and it only lasted a few weeks. I guess you get what you pay for . Aldi would do themselves a favor by not selling junk.

I have the same problem with this 2-in-1 Vac bought from Aldi. The battery will not hold charge anymore, and never held much charge from new. It was still within warranty when I realised the battery no longer worked at all, but I didn't get a chance to take it back to Aldi. I called the above number today after reading the answer to the above review yesterday, but I was told they cannot sell me a replacement battery for this product. The product therefore was a total waste of money.

My EasyHome Cordless Vacuum requires replacement of the cloth filter bag. Where can I purchase this in Adelaide, S.A. how do you charge it ? no instructions in box or cords
Hi Mike, You can charge the handheld unit while it is connected to or detached from the upright unit frame. If charging the detached handheld unit, place it on a table or benchtop with a stable and level surface so it does not fall down during charging. If charging the unit while assembled upright, make sure the upright frame sits straight on the floor head and the unit is properly secured to the wall.
Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before charging the battery. Then, insert the DC connector into the charging socket at the side of the handheld unit's grip, and the plug of the charger into a suitable mains socket. The battery indicator light at the front of the handheld unit flashes during charging and shows the actual charge level. When the appliance is fully charged, the battery indicator light will stop flashing. A full charge takes about 4–5 hours.
CAUTION: -Do not at any time leave a lithium battery pack charging unsupervised. -Do not leave the adaptor plugged into the power outlet while not in use. -Before prolonged storage, apply charge to bring the battery to about half charge. Prolonged storage of an empty battery may damage the battery. -Ensure to only use the supplied battery charger for charging the unit. Using the wrong adaptor can cause fire or explosion of the battery. -Do not use or charge the product if you notice anything wrong with the battery. -Please dispose of the battery responsibly after the service life of the product.

How do you empty canister? I cannot get it open.
Hi Marie, To empty the cannister, press the handheld unit release button and pull the handheld unit up and out of the frame. Then, holding the dust container over a bin, press the dust container open button to open the container. Gently tap the container on the sides to ensure all dirt is removed. Finally, close the container flap securely. It will click into place.
