How fast should the water drip through the filter system.
New filter not letting water through
It takes 5 minutes (I timed it) to fill my 1ltr water bottle from the cold tap. Is this normal?
There is a brown sediment build up in the bottom tank of my water cooler. I replaced the filter about 4 weeks ago and still seeing this brownish sediment. I have to clean this bottom tank at least once a week. We use this cooler daily so the water is refilled regularly. Any ideas what this is and how to prevent it from happening. Cheers
I purchased mine a while ago its out of warranted it wasn't cheap the blue light keep flashing water warm

Have you replaced the filter, that is why is doing that, you must replace the filter every 6 months or as indicated on the unit bars.
Yes I did, exactly on the 6 months as it said on the filter timer. Awful product, lasted less than 12 months!
Why does the water have a unusual taste ? the carb soda suggestion works only for a day or two and I have changed the filter 3 times in 6 months.

I had a similar problem and returned it to the Good Guys for a replacement. Been working great for over 1yd now fingers crossed.

how often should filter be changed
The digital timer is not a smart device but just a countdown from when you use it. We are replacing ours every 4-5 months . If we are not using it over winter we drained the unit and to keep the filter from developing bacteria we froze it in the freezer in a tupper ware containter of water and de frost it in the sink for summer again. Been working well for us. :)
