The direction adjuster is in the back of the remote, in the battery compartment :)

Hi guys, I’ve got a ceiling fan that has stopped spinning all of a sudden.
Re-paired the fan with the physical remote and app. You can hear the beeps every time you turn it on or switch the speeds. Even the app shows the fan to be turned on and on a certain speed however it just isn’t spinning.
Any ideas ?

Never had any problems with our ceiling fan, so far I think a lot of the ceiling fans stop working due to bad installations
How can I get my remote to stop beeping every time I change a setting I.e speed, light on/off etc?
Hi I am trying to make the fan work for summer, I have opened the back of the remote and switched it over, held the fan button for 30 seconds turned it on but will only spin one way, winter. Is there a trick to it?
Don't know as we run ours in the summer setting all year round as we live in the Bundaberg Queensland, we had ours installed by a Electrician and set it up for us.

Sorry have not come across this problem as we only have one fan and have not had any issues with it as an electrician put ours in for us and no problems have occurred since
Thanks Mariannar, I have three DC ceiling fans. One is works good. Early days aal were separate with their own remotes, but few days ago we had internet issue , after that two of them connected to each others remotes. I tried to connect them to Grid app but one connected others not because it doesn’t beep for pairing.
hi i have 4 Arlec DCF2027 fans the original batteries A23 lasted 1 year with no problems. Now I seam to be changing the batteries every 2 weeks. I've tried Duracell, & Energizer thinking they are the best brands. Am I using the wrong brands or do i need to do something else.
Don't know have never come across this problem.
We have 3 fans with their own remotes and have all worked beautifully. A battery died in one remote, we replaced it but it now doesn't work and another remote is now automatically operating 2 fans which is causing issues. How do I reset the remote please?

Turn off power to the fan. Wait 5 mins. Turn on and within 30 secs press and hold fan button for 5 seconds. This is re-pairing method. external link
Thank you Mr Peterson. Our fans are electrically wired in. I have tried just stopping the fan and re-pairing which hasn't worked. Do I need to turn the electricity off in the house, turn it on and then try? Thank you
Arlec ceiling fan turned off one night and won’t turn back on. When wall switch is on, the fan beeps intermittently but nothing else happens.
Sorry never had that problem, but I would see an electrician
The real issue that ‘clueless’ has responded to here, is that the remote receiver is faulty. I disconnected mine, showing same symptom and reconnected it to the fan. This gives time for the circuit to drain of power. Reconnected and gives one beep, a delay then 4 beeps. After that, nothing will happen and the receiver is dead.
It is possible that the remote needs the pairing procedure. Turn off fan at power source for a few minutes. Turn on at power. Press and hold Fan button for five seconds. This may re-pair the remote.
There are replacements for these devices, but so far I have found that the wiring is different, The old models have three motor wires, where new one has two. I will seek to buy a replacement of these models, but so far no luck.

When l try to turn on my ceiling fan it beeps 4 times and nothing happens the remote is saying it's on and if l press the button again the remote turns off as usual.
Check your batteries in the remote is the only thing I can think of, otherwise a electrician would be my next option

I have a DCF5241 Fan Purchased recently and installed by a incensed electrician. The remote battery goes flat in two to three days. I have replaced the battery numerous times. Please advise on this.

Can only think of the manufacture company you would have to give them all the details of your fan serial number ,date manufactured

Have not had that problem did you get a licensed electrician to install it. I would get in contact with the company that sells them and ask them for an answer
Cant help you sorry, i have got one thats not working either, i know it has to do with the relay in remote. I had an electrician have a look, you can buy the relay part on ebay, but i dont see why we should have to and it happens 2 months after warranty expired. Not happy

Did you get an electrician to install ,as something is not right ours only beeps once for every change you make with the remote
Carnt get lights to turn off ?
Sorry can not help as ours does not have a light and ours has had no issues with the remote, it works great
