How long can I leave my baby to sleep in the bassinet for?
Hi Gemma, Thanks for your question! Your baby can safely sleep in the pram bassinet for as long as they need, provided they are supervised and it’s during the day. Our bassinets are designed with safety and comfort in mind, making them a great option for daytime naps on the go.
For overnight or unsupervised sleep, we recommend using a sleep space that meets full sleep safety standards, such as a cot or bassinet approved for overnight use.
Whilst there are no Australian Safety Standards for bassinet safe sleeping, we have been advised by industry experts (Red Nose and INPAA) that they would never approve a pram bassinet as a safe sleeping environment. This is mainly due to how narrow they are. Even with mesh sides, babies can easily roll up against the side/mesh closing their nostrils off and causing suffocation risk (babies are born breathing primarily through their nose).
If you're interested, SIDS/Red Nose have more general information on safe sleeping practices here: external link
Brands who claim that their bassinets are safe for overnight sleeping are referring to international safety standards for bassinets. Regardless of whether our prams pass these international standards we have chosen to follow the advice of industry experts here in Australia and educate customers of the risks here.
I hope that's helpful, if you have any further questions please feel free to send them through!
Thanks, Erin
Hey just wondering if anyone else has noticed a slight tilt on their bassinet (Rover 3). Ours looks like it tilts towards the handle bars. Hasn't been a huge issue just want to know if it's normal.
Hi Bec, Thanks for getting in touch! All bassinets will slope slightly towards the feet end to ensure that no matter where your baby is placed inside, the bassinet will never slope towards the head end (which could be dangerous). All of our pram models are lab-tested and adhere to Australian Standards for safety and durability. This is quite common across many pram bassinets.
If you feel the lean is too much please contact our customer support team on au.support@babybeeonline.com as they will be able to ease your mind even more :)

Is this suitable for shorter mums like me? I am only 152cms tall. Im due in March so cant test it in time for the February expo in Syndey. Help?!
I’m 156cm tall so a shorty too! On the lowest setting I find it comfortable to walk with this was something I was worried about too but it seems fine! Babybee also offer a 9 month free returns if you aren’t happy with the product which is insane but so handy if you wanted to get it now and try it out!!
Hi Michelle, Thanks for getting in touch! The handlebar on the Rover3 is approximately 100cm (at its shortest) and 108cm (at its highest) from the ground to the top of the bar. If you want, you could measure these heights against a table or bench to get a better idea of whether this will be comfortable for you.
Alternatively, we do offer 9 month free returns which allows you to try the pram inside your home and if you're not happy with the height you can repack the product in its original condition and packaging along with any unopened accessories, then fill in a return form on our website.
Regards, Abbey
Hello we have the 2021 Rover 2 bassinet which didn’t fit on our second pram, the Duo I think rover 3!?
I want to gift our beautiful 2021 bassinet to a friend who is looking at the babybee range, wow it even compatible with any of todays models? Or are there extensions to make it so?
Hi Shaana, Thanks for getting in touch. Any version of our ROVER bassinets would be compatible with any of the ROVER prams. If you had a ROVER2019 or ROVER3 bassinet it will fit onto the ROVR2017, ROVER2019 or ROVER3 frame.
Due to differences in size and connections the bassinets are seats from the ROVER range are not compatible with the DUO range.
If we can help with anything else please get in touch.
Cheers, Shannon
Just wondering if anyone taken their Babybee Rover3 ‘off road’? How does it handle on a limestone or dirt/gravel track, or over turf/lawn for example?
Hi Bec, Thanks for getting in touch Our prams have been designed for "urban living" so footpaths, shops and local parks are ideal surfaces. When it comes to off-road and uneven terrain they can definitely handle it, they just won't feel as comfy for you or bub as a 3 wheeled jogging stroller would with much larger wheels.
It's really the front swivel wheels that become the issue rather than the rear when you take a pram off road. If you do decide to take your ROVER3 off road you can lock the front swivel wheels.
Our Aeroglide wheels are made from a high-grade PU rubber that offers some of the cushioning that air tires do but without the maintenance and punctures. They're also resistant to fine gravel and small stones so they'll stay looking newer for longer and won't wear out anywhere near as fast as traditional EVA wheels.
I hope that's answered your question if you need anything else please don't hesitate to ask, we're here to help!
Cheers, Shannon
Hi, wondering how plane/travel friendly the Rover 3 is? Does it meet regulations for carry on?
Hi Carly! Thanks for your question. The Rover3 does not meet the requirements for carry on and would need to be checked in. We do sell a travel stroller called the Miles if you wanted to take a look, we also stock a carry bag for the Miles as well.
Kind regards, Jess
Can I use the Central adaptors on the frame for both the seat and bassinet? I.e. I don't need to swap out the adapters when switching between the two? Thanks!
Hi Julie!
The seat and bassinet will both attach to the frame without the need for adapters, so you can interchange the parts with ease!
Kind regards, Jess
Perfect, thank you for the quick response!
Is it safe to go jogging when pushing the Rover3?
Hi Brittany, Thanks for getting in touch :) When it comes to jogging, 3 wheeled jogging strollers are definitely going to perform best. The key differences with these and 4 wheel strollers like our ROVER are the single front wheel that enables you to turn easier, a much wider frame to offer greater stability, much larger wheels to make it easier for you to push and comfier for bub and they've often got great suspension, a fixed seat (not a 2 in 1 reversible seat that will shake) and a stronger/heavier frame designed to take the additional impact. And the same will be true for any other 2-in-1 prams.
Our prams have been designed for "urban living" so footpaths, shops and local parks are ideal surfaces. When it comes to off-road and uneven terrain they can definitely handle it, they just won't feel as comfy for you or bub as a 3 wheeled jogging stroller would with much larger wheels.

Has anyone used stroller for new born? Is it okay if we skip the bassinet?
We started using the stroller instead of bassinet at 3 months (I guess 2 corrected). We had a stroller insert with supported head rest. Mainly for her reflux as she didn’t enjoy lying down flat anyway
Hi Carly, Thanks for getting in touch In line with expert advice, we recommend bassinets for babies under 6 months old. The flat surface is the safest place for your precious cargo and also the best position for spine development.
They should remain in the bassinet until they can sit up and support their head and neck unaided (around 5-6 months). If their neck muscles aren't strong enough, the risk in the seat is that their head may fall forwards or sideways when they get tired and block their airways. We understand that all babies grow at a different rate so are understand that some babies are moved into seats sooner than this by the choice of the parent.

Is Rover 2019 bassinet compatible with Babybee duo 2 and 3 frame ?
I am not sure. I would check their website
Hi Ankita! The Rover range seats and bassinets are not compatible with the Duo range.
Kind regards, Jess
Just got brand new rover3 delivered. One thing I noticed off the bat is handle bar quality - that thing rattles like some sortev cheap plastic. Is that normal or faulty? Also clicking noise when pram is in forward motion - appears to be coming from one of the tyres, it's audible and can be annoying. Anyone having similar issues or it's just me?
I have had no issues with mine! I would recommend contacting them!
Hi there,
If you haven't already please send through some videos showing the issues your experiencing to au.support@babybeeonline.com so we can have a look into this for you.
Cheers, Shannon
Vid was sent to babybee support and was told handlebar rattling is normal ??(as you can see here other customers got lucky and don't have this issue)... Regarding the clicking noise, support sent 'new' wheels which are missing cover/logo. (probably used wheels). This is absolutely unacceptable. Why can't they just send me brand new pram and pickup the faulty one?
Hi there, Without having you're email address I'm unable to check this out personally for you. If possible could you please reply to your the last email we sent saying that Shannon has asked for you to get in touch so that the message is forwarded on to me?
Cheers, Shannon
I have PM you my email address :)

Hi, we currently have a baby bee rover and are looking to get a baby bee duo. Will the baby bee bassist or toddler seat from the baby bee rover work in the baby bee duo? Are the baby bee product interchangeable?
Hi Madalin,
I apologise for the late reply!
Each of our models are their own unique design with virtually no compatibility between parts and accessories.
Please let us know if you have any further questions, we're here to help!

Hi, does the Rover3 have a tether strap attached?
Thanks
Hi Phil,
Thanks for getting in touch.
In line with Australian Safety Standards all our prams will have a tether strap attached to the handle bar.
Please let me know if I can help with any other questions.
Cheers, Shannon
Aside from the Babybee branded toddler boards, what other brands of toddler boards are compatible with the Babybee Rover?
Hi there, We haven't done any specific testing on other universal toddler board models. There are others out there that should fit but we can't guarantee they will work. It would be worth contacting the companies who make the toddler boards to confirm this. Also keep in mind that some may cause damage to your frame where they attach which is not covered by our warranty policy.
If we can help with anything else please get in touch.
Cheers, Shannon
Hi, what's the difference between the Rover 3 and Rover 2019?
Hi Ashley, Thanks for getting in touch :) The main differences between the ROVER2019 and ROVER3 are the built in UV cover in the bassinet and the easier access to the basket from the rear of the pram.
Here is a link that will give you a full comparison between the ROVER2019 and the ROVER3 models. external link

We are planning on getting the Rover 3 pram for our baby arriving in Oct, but a friend has offered their bassinet, from either the 2019 or 2021 Rover range (I would have to double check!) would their bassinet fit on the Rover 3 if we bought it?
Hi there,
Thank you for your interest in Babybee!
Yes the ROVER 2019 bassinet is compatible with the ROVER3 frame.
Kind Regards, The Babybee Team
Hi, we are tossing up between the Rover 3 and the Duo 2 for our first stroller. Have seen the comparison video and we are leaning towards the Rover 3 because it's more compact and lighter. However, we do like the the wheel sizes on the Duo 2. Would the Duo 2 wheels be compatible on the Rover 3?
Hi Josh, Thanks for getting in touch. The wheels from the DUO2 are not compatible with the ROVER3. Keep in mind even though the DUO2 wheels are larger they are both designed for the same sort of use. They are larger on the DUO2 as the pram needs to be able to carry double the weight.
We're sure you'll love the ROVER3 once you get it and feel the push but if for any reason you don't we do have our free 9 month return policy.
Please get in touch if we can help with anything else.
Cheers, Shannon
Hi I have seen some review saying some people bought it for 799$, some for 849$ and so on, but the website says the Rover 3 costs 999$. Is there any special discount on these prams or thats the fixed price? I am eagerly looking forward to buy this. Thanks
Hi Dipeen, Thank you for getting in touch with us at Babybee As of Jan 4th, 2022, we have had a storewide price increase. The decision for the price increase was made due to the increase in supplier and shipping costs.
