Is it true that the recommended matress size does not fit snuggle? I read this issue on the product review site

I am looking to get a Boori Matilda cradle, however one thing that bothers me is that it doesn't have a locking mechanism that stop the rocking. Just wondering if anyone who owns similar cradle find it safe to keep the baby up till 6 months? Thanks

That's IF your baby will last that l

It really depends how big/wriggly your baby is. Both mine were little babies who slept soundly. It lasted more than 6 months for both. They didn't start to try to move around their sleeping spaces until they were 8 months, when we switched them to the cot.

Also, the Boori Matilda glides rather than rocks. The bed part where the baby lays is always in a horizontal position.

Hope this helps.

It will not last long if you do get one now. Soon your baby will be sitting up on their own, then pulling themselves to a standing position. A baby that moves around and does these things can easily fall out. The sides are no where near the hight of a cot.

You can get rocking mechanisms that go under the legs of your cot. This may be a better option and much safer for a baby of this age
