Fillter on top where the carry handle is,have a look
Was anyones sensor issue resolved? Suction is great but like everyone else, the Bosch sensor is coming on and shutting down my vacuum every 30 seconds. Pretty frustrating.

Cleaning the filters and washing the ones that require it is the only troubleshooting to try. If you need any more help, feel free to contact us on 1300 369 744. Regards, Bosch Home Australia
Tried cleaning filters but sensor still keeps shutting down vac every 30 secs. What an expensive piece of rubbish. I will never buy anthing Bosch again. Worst appliance experience EVER
Ours is exactly the same hate it trying to work out how to disconnect sensor
Anyone actually manage to resolve the red light issue?
Hi it appears that i have the same problem as everone else. Quicker to sweep the floor, the very expensive vacuum cleaner runs for 30 secs at most i have cleaned ALL the filter and even run the machine without them, even then it cuts out whilst not vaccuming. Has there been an Australian RECALL on these machines as it seems to be a major problem and not really suitable for its intended purpose i have contacted your 1300 number and the consultant was well aware of this fault but was advised that Bosch does not fix vacuum cleaners. I would understand if i purchased a kmart special but this is not the case please help, surely i am not expected to purchase another cleaner.
It was by far one of the worst purchases I have made. I had the very same issue until one day it refused to start. I bought a 55$ Vacuum from Kmart and haven't had a problem since. Bosch should stick to power tools.

Any joy with this? I think we all need our money back
Ok, Bosch say it is not an issue even though everyone has the problem a better system would have been good. What I now do is, empty the dirt container and clean the mesh filter, twist this filter off (you will see the round tab and keyhole slot) the top and expose the fabric filter. I use a blower to remove the fine powder or a toothbrush I did wash it and it helped This will ease your pain
Hi all, I also have this vacuum cleaner and it seemed to have a major issue now. After vacuuming for a few minutes the self clean button turns red but it doesn’t self clean. It is still running, just going quieter and stops sucking and stays like this. I have to turn it off to get it back to run. Any advice? Might need a new filter but I’m struggling to find one to buy. Tanja
Hi Tanja M, Thanks for the question regarding your Bosch BGS5225AU vacuum cleaner. Please check all filters are clean. If you require a new filter, this can be purchased from our spare parts department on 1300 369 744 and selecting option 4. Regards, Bosch Home Australia
I have the Relaxx’x Floor specialist and it’s been doing the same as everyone else’s for quiet some time we blew out the filter with an air compressor, washed out and waited to dry and have had no luck. Went into the store in the hope I could buy a new filter thinking that would stop the problem... no don’t stock them. Go onto Bosch website and can’t find it. Again we loved this vacuum when we first got it but I’ve been considering going and getting a cheaply from Kmart coz it would take me half the time. Wondering if anyone that bought theirs from Harvey Norman know how long the warranty is on them. I’m thinking I should of but the Bullet ages ago and took it back but never got around to it

Hi While I was very happy with my new vacuum initially it is driving me crazy now. I have 4 Siberian Huskies and need to vacuum daily. Spending all that money and having no functional vacuum is not what I expected from a Bosh product. The flashing light comes on after 30 second and after 3 times it stops completely. Does the manufacturer have a solution for this issue ?

I have a 4 year old Roxx'x animal vacuum cleaner. Initially it was great and I recommended it to friends, but now, despite cleaning the filters regularly, it stops and self cleans every few minutes. It is driving me mad and I need to do something about it. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and need to vacuum at least three times every two weeks and I have got to the stage that I dread getting it out. Help please.

I can't answer the problem because I'm having the same issue and as someone else has suggested why can't the solution be posted. I dread ringing up as you never know where you will end up and if english is not their first language it can get very, very frustrating! I also don't want to waste my time when I have spent a considerable amount of money on a vacuum cleaner that I thought was quality and would not have these constant ongoing issues!
Hi
I have a problem with the vaccume cleaner
I washed the filter with tap water and let it dry but now it stops while vacuuming indicating the sensor control. Any help?

I have the same problem as most people. The sensor control comes on every 30 seconds. It is impossible to vacuum. This is clearly a problem that the product has yet there is no "recall" or solution that has been offered. Does any one have some form of advice?
Hi, if the sensor control comes on every 30seconds means blockage or dirty filter that needs to be cleaned/replaced. Call the customer service and get a new one if possible under warranty.
Hi, I have a Bosch Relaxx'x Heppa 2200W.
After a short vacuum it cuts out, does the Sensor clean and restarts after the 3rd time it doesnt restart
Can you help me?
Hi, sorry I don't work for bosch. I am just a consumer, like you. You might be best off sending them an email or contacting where you bought the vacuum form.
Thanks for your help Bobbie
It is a blockage or dirty filter
Recently bought a 'All floor specialist' vacuum. Used 4 times emptying out the dust container each time. Is already flashing red sensor. Following the instructions we have rinsed the fluff filter - it is drying now. Figures 28 & 29 from the manual ~ Couldn't work out how to remove the foam and micro filers from the HEPA filer frame - seems to be glued in and didn't want to force. Rinsed out in frame. What next?
Very concerned given how new this vacuum is.
Reading through the reviews this is obviously a common failing
Hi not sure this is the same model I had but after doing everything the manual advised I still had the same problem. Eventually Bosch gave me a full refund snd I purchased a different brand vacuum cleaner
I was told if this happens to make sure I have nothing blocked in the hose or the pipe, might be worth a go.

How to remove and empty dust cylinder?
Hi, Thanks for your question regarding your Bosch BGS5225AU Vacuum cleaner. We would recommend referring to the images in the rear section of the user manual, pictures 18-29 on removing and cleaning the canister and the filters within the appliance.

Hi
I have a Bosch GS40 hoover and it stops suction after red sensor control light flashes.
Is there anything I can do to resolve this please?
Thanks
Hi edi..that is my problem as well. I wish i did have an answer for you
Hi Edi Cinkilic, Thanks for your question regarding your Bosch Relaxx'x and Zoo'o Vacuum Cleaner. We would recommend checking the filters in the appliance and washing as instructed in the back of the appliance user manual.
If you have any further queries or this fails to rectify the issue, please do not hesitate to contact our After Sales Support team on 1300 369 74.

Hi Edi, Same answer I gave to Eliza, SensorControl red light for the models BGS5525, BGS5ZOOAU, BGS5SIL66AU comes up in three different occasions: 1) If the machine is self cleaning. It stops, cleans for about 20s and then starts again.
2) If there is a blockage. The indicator flashes three times in quick succession, even though the filters are clean, this is probably due to a dirty fluff filter or a blockage. In this case, the vacuum automatically adjusts to the lowest power setting and the indicator lights up red permanently. Please check that there is not any blockage inside the metallic rod (you can see through) and the hose (you can make a 5c coin run from one side to the other).
3) If the round filter needs to be cleaned:
-take the mesh cover off and tap the filter to dislodge the dust.
-for an additional and more deep clean you can wash the filter but make sure that dries up completely, it will take over 24H, don't use any soap or any detergent, don't brush the filter off.
Hope this can help.

The head of my pro animal is blocked with hair and I cannot unblock even when removing the brush cylinder. I can see the hair blocking it but cannot get to it. How can I get this out?
Use a lighter and carefully burn bits of the hair until you can unravel it
Thanks. But I cannot reach the hair.. I have tried pointy nose pliers to reach, but still cannot get to it. Can I undo the head anymore there is no obvious screws. And I don't want to break it..

Hi!
I have the black relax vacuum. I just love it! The only problem I have is it is constantly self cleaning. I've cleaned out all the filters and I still have the same problem. Thanks!
I think there is a fault with the self cleaning models that after a few months that all they do is self clean, You may have read that there are many people having the same problem. All you cam do is contact Bosh and ask them to either replace it or fix it. I have just had mine replaced because I wasn't willing to leave mine outside a roller door to be picked up when the repair man got around to picking it up. I hope I have helped. Debb
Thanks Deb!

Just a question. When the red light flashes and the machine turns off....do you press the black "clean" button? The vac should stop, beat its own filter and restart. This should be done before removing the filter and washing it. Just trying to help.
Hi,
My Bosch hoover has a red sensor light on the machine which keeps flashing on and off and now and again the machine slows down then switches its self off. as if its over heating. I have clean out the machine and cleaned all filters. Can anyone help with this matter?
This means it needs all the filters cleaned, make sure you clean the inside filter as that gets really clogged, then it works ok for a little bit until it's clogged again. One of the most frustrating machines ever.
I have already cleaned out all filters!!

When the light flashes red you need to press the black clean button first. It should "beat" the filter and then restart. You need to do this before removing and cleaning the filter.
I've been told the suction of this model is very powerful. I'm just wondering if it is suitable for sucking up dressmaking pins on carpet? The pins have gotten caught in the tube of previous models we've had, so we want to make sure this doesn't happen. Thank you!
The suction is excellent and the flexible hose gets gradually wider in diameter as it goes from the wand to motor, so the likely hood of anything getting stuck in the flexible hose in my opinion is pretty small. This was one of the features which was important in my decision to purchase this model. I have had it now for a few weeks and am very happy with my choice. Hope this is of some help to you.
Hi Katman, Thanks for your question regarding the Bosch BGS5225AU Vacuum cleaner. Although our vacuums are very powerful and have been designed with a significantly larger hose to prevent anything from getting stuck along the way, we do not recommend vacuuming up dressmaking pins as they have the potential to get lodged and cause a blockage or fault in the machine,
