I bought a WAN2007MPL in Israel. I noticed something strange. That the prewash and the main wash liquid detergent both empty at the same time, during the prewash.
It looks like the following is the case:
1. Something is defective in the machine. 2. Very bad engineering. 3. Intentional misleading the customers about the functionality of the machine.
Which one is it?
Hi, we just about to start building a new kitchen and considering in-built Bosch combo microwave/oven instead of usual freestanding microwave. If you used one, could you recommend same? Thank you
Never ever purchase anything from them their customer service is really bad and when their product broke they don’t fix it they find a way to blame you
Why hasn't Bosch made any attempt to improve its customer service and warranty claims ? seems to me Bosch just doesn't care about their customers nor carry out warranty repairs in a timely fashion. Several hundred very poor reviews is proof enough why people should avoid Bosch, I will continue to warn people about Bosch's poor warranty & customer service, no one should tolerate this from a multinational company.
Perhaps they became complacent and arrogant?
Hi PaulM, Thanks for your review, we appreciate the feedback. We're sorry to hear that you're having issues with your service and can appreciate your concerns regarding repair taking time. If we can be of any help to you feel free to call us on 1300 369 744. Regards, Bosch Home Australia.
This has been resolved by the efforts of E&S your response is a little late to be of any value to me, will I buy Bosch again ! NEVER
Why does Bosch Home Appliances cheat customers by not providing full spare parts? The answer is because they are ripping off consumers. If you buy a washing machine like the IQ 500 they will not supply the original Demaisi bearing seal which costs about $2 or NSK bearings which cost about $15 each. You have to spend $280 to buy the whole rear drum assembly. This is most likely in breach of Australian consumer law where companies have to provide spare parts.
Good afternoon I was enquiring to ask if you are aware of any issues with the built in microwave convection oven, model #CMG656RS1A\40 I had this installed in out new home build in 2019, however the middle touch screens on the control pad now do not work. I first noticed this around December 2021, but did not realise the full impact till later. To say I am disappointed is an understatement! The whole reason I wanted this microwave was so that I could steam my frozen veggies and it would cook itself whist I was doing other things getting ready for tea, but I can’t even reach that function, as both sides of the touch pad do not react to touch in the middle section. I can touch it over and over again, but it will not detect the touch. In fact, I cannot set the time to the correct time, as it will not detect the touch, it just keeps asking if I want to return to factory settings (which I have done on multiple times in the hope that it would somehow reset itself). The certificate of occupancy of the home is for Feb 2019. This oven has done little work compared to our main oven, as the microwave function has only been used to heat up some porridge in the mornings in winter (although not every day) and probably 4 times a week at tea time for the frozen vegetables, which would have only been up to a maximum of 10 mins at a time (whatever it sensed it needed to be), and then the convection function about 2 times a week to heat up frozen foods when there was only 2 of us at home, not roasts or cakes etc that meant that the oven was on a long time?
I have had Bosch appliances both in this house, and our last home (induction cooktop, dishwasher, washing machines and dryers) and have always been happy with their quality and performance, but I am dismayed that a microwave/oven that I paid over $2000 for has not lasted as long as my previous $99 oven that sensed how long the veggies had to cook (without even putting in the weight!) (I would probably still be using it but the buyer of our last home wanted it in the contract as it fitted perfectly).
I am hoping for feedback from other owners, and have a workaround so that I can use my microwave again for the use that I most wanted it for.
If the touch pad isn't working in only one part, suggest you contact Bosch directly
Why is it so hard to get an answer from Bosch regarding a filter for a 25.2v cordless vacuum? I tried some months back and eventually gave up - it was like I was asking for State secrets or something. Like a fool, I decided to try again. This time I have been emailing back and forth for more than six weeks and all I can get is "soon" or "shortly" or similar they will get back to me. I guess we keep using the vacuum until the filter causes it to fail and then buy another brand.

Hi, We have a Bosch oven, HBN4350au/02. After about 3years from new we had to replace the grill element, now the fan element has blown. Why are these elements unavailable. You don't expect to have to buy a new oven after only 10 years. Very disappointed. I will be writing a review.
Please write to department of fair trading they can help you. I had similar issues and warranty and the store didn’t help but at fair trading a manage to get a good outcome. These things breaks it’s very common but no one helps. The more customers complaint the better for consumers. All the best.
Hi Rusty, We're sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your oven. As you can appreciate with any manufactured appliance, it is impossible to prevent a case of failure during the lifespan of the product. With that said we would be happy to discuss your matter further with you. If you could kindly contact us on 1300 369 744, we’ll investigate for you. Regards, Bosch Home Australia.
Its not the failure that's a problem. Its not being able to get a replacement element, the most common failed part in an oven. So are you saying that the lifespan of a Bosch oven is only 10 years.
I am wanting to buy Bosch VBD578FSO 90cm Built in oven, I am wanting to know when you open the large door, the operation ceases until you shut again?? On my existing 90cm oven I get burnt from the hot air heating my jewelry and burning my skin.
Unless you like incompetent customer service and them screwing you out of warranty services I wouldn’t touch Bosch with a ten foot barge pole.
Totally agree they will do anything to wriggle out of fixing anything or honoring their word. They delay the process to make sure it's out of warranty so they don't have to fix it. ACA and Fair trading soon be involved.
What is the life Span of a new washing machine?
Hi pred, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately there is no clear answer to this, as there could be a number of contributing factors such as how frequently the appliance is used. Bosch appliances are engineered to very stringent quality standards. Each appliance endures rigorous quality testing, before it can leave the production factory. We take pride in each and every appliance we manufacture. If you're having issues with your appliance, we encourage you to please contact us on 1300 369 744 with your model number, and we'll be happy to investigate further for you. It’s waste of my time contacting Bosch, my washing machine is less than 3 years old, I believe I got lemon for $1300. Forget Bosch products, they don’t honour their fault.

Bosch condenser dryer avantixx 8kg. I can't get clothes to dry enough to put away without runnning twice. Which is best setting?
Hi Jill, Thanks for your question regarding your Bosch Dryer. We would recommend using the Very Dry setting. If you have any further queries, please feel free to contact us on 1300 369 744 to discuss further.
Regards, Bosch Home Australia.
Jill, I do not know anything about the dryer you have but seems strange after 2 runnings it is still not dry. try the dry setting - if not get them to check it out.as they Suppose to provide good service to customers- good luck
No help thanks. The dryest setting is "Cupboard Dry" and that still does not dry sufficiently to put in a cupboard without mould developing. Do you even know your product and it's instruction panel?
Hi, I'm thinking to buy a Bosch oven but having concerns after reading the reviews here. While all brands can have faulty products, it seems Bosch's customer service is less than ideal. Most people here mentioned they got no call back or follow up from Bosch after reporting a problem. Seems going public with negative reviews is the only way to get their attention. Is this a norm of Bosch's customer service?
Sadly yes. I was without a fridge for 6 weeks! That's right 6 weeks. No call backs no nothing. I have heard from electrical appliance dealers that Bosch is outsourcing its fridges etc to third parties and just badging them as a Bosch. My sisters oven door fell off.. Also a Bosch. As I chef I'd recommend a Miele oven. They are amazing and top quality.
Hmm, Bosch don't even mind the public criticism - it doesn't change how they do business. The end to my disaster was- they refused to replace/ repair the fridge even under warranty, they offered a cash refund but minus my Gst and my delivery expenses. They did it on the condition I wait 2 weeks for them to collect the old fridge and a further 2 weeks for their 'banking day.' They refuse to call me about my food claim and deny getting the multiple copies of claim emails.
An expensive lesson in the consequences of buying a foreign brand.
I have had a Bosch washing machine for 5 years. The product is good, no questions about that, but all mechanics end up failing and mine did 3 months before the extended warranty did. The machine had been bought at The Good Guys and they referred us to the service company which sent an "expert". After three or four "experts" visits the machine was repaired by exchanging "the brain" = program control I guess. This was two months after our first call and a month after we had started using a local washing centre while the machine at home did not work. This repair worked for a whole month before we had the exact same problem again i.e. the program starts then stops two or three minutes into the cycle. By now the extended warranty period has expired and the service company denied to do anything. We turned to Bosch -- a further month of writing and re-explaining our woes to different Bosch staff who seemingly did not communicate between themselves. Eventually Bosch referred us to The Good Guys who again referred us to the Service company who sent out the "last visit's expert" again. He "evaluated the machine and "judged it" to yes have the same fault again, but now caused by a faulty motor WHICH WAS A NEW DEVELOPMENT and consequently the machine would not be repaired under warranty. ---- DO NOT BUY BOSCH their after-service in this country is horrible.
