For those of us who do have dermatitis, can you **Please** say the actual proper chemical name of the surfactant, use a CAS number if you must. "Ionic and non-ionic biodegradable surfactants" is not sufficient in the ingredient list any more that a cake mix saying "contains some white stuff".

Obviously it's not Sodium Sulphate, so that leaves stuff like Disodium Cocoyl Glutamate or Cetyl Alcohol or Polyglyceryl Laurate or Polyglyceryl Caprylate or Ammonium lauryl sulfate or Sodium stearate and so on. If you have real care and compassion for your customers, and for the sake of allergy sufferers - *especially* those trying to work out which chemical is causing their rashes, can you please say the proper chemical name of the Surfactant?

Only the bad guys use the airy-fairy terms "biodegradable ionic surfactant", don't be a bad guy. It's not a big ask! And with your wonderful Eucalyptus oil being so awesome, it's not like the surfactant needs to be a trade secret. And even if it's a scary name for the facebook-pitchfork-hoards like - Ethyl hexanol (which being oxygen based so far seem to best match your flowery language.... let us know please.

As customers we should have your respect to do that much. Please?

Bosisto's
Bosisto's   DM

Hi Jayd13. We do respect and love our customers immensely. Thank you for your feedback, and we have already passed this on to the Marketing team. Our team are always happy to help you understand the ingredients in the Laundry Liquid, and if you are able to email them at cservice@fgb.com.au with the specific ingredients you are allergic (or have sensitivities) to, they will be able to discuss this further with you. Thanks Bosisto's

Jayd13
Jayd13

Why should we share our private heath details with you? That’s very intrusive! And as for ingredients some of us have not yet correlated which one is causing the rash. So we need to know the list so we can say ok Product A does and it has XYZ. Product B does and it has XYZ. Product C doesn’t and it uses ABC. It’s pretty simple to understand why you should list your SDS properly. But sharing my health details? Not on your life. You don’t get my drivers license number either. Do your SDS properly please!

Bosisto's
Bosisto's   DM

Hi Jayd13. We don't require health details, but are able to rule out specific allergens. If you do require an SDS, our Customer service team will be able to provide this to you. This is prepared in line with SDS requirements and meet all guidelines - however it is important to remember that Safety data sheets (SDS) are designed to protect the health and safety of people in the workplace by providing detailed information on hazardous chemicals and how they should be safely used, stored, transported and disposed of. They can also provide information such as what to do in the event of a spill or a fire. It is primarily for workplaces who are manufacturing, storing or transporting bulk or significant quantities of product, rather than allergen listings Thanks Bosisto's.

Hi . I love and use all of your products. The idea to remove the plastic insert from the laundry liquid is a great idea for using less plastic. However, the insert from an old bottle could be removed and inserted into the new bottle and thus reducing the use of plastic. Unfortunately the inserts do not fit into the new bottle . Making the size of the new bottle opening to fit the old inert is worthwhile considering. Regards Deirdre

Anne
Anne

Hi Deirdre, I tried using the insert in my bottle a thought that it fitted but found that it does not. It ended up falling out of the bottle a I ended up using more detergent than I intended to. I have now put the insert in the recycle bin. I now find that I have to be Very careful about how much comes out of the bottle. I wish that they had kept the insert.

Bosisto's   DM

Hi Drdr and Anne. Thanks for your feedback - I will ensure this is passed on to our Marketing team. This change was made as part of our commitment, as an Australian manufacturer, to reducing our environmental footprint. Removing the spout reduces our plastic consumption by approximately 4.5 tonnes per year. The bottle was redesigned to make it easier to pour without a spout and the cap can be used to get the correct dose of Liquid. We do appreciate your feedback. The Bosisto's Team

Am wondering if you are going to return to the old 1.2 litre bottles with the plastic insert in the neck, the style of bottle you have now allows the liquid to gush out and is just too messy.

Bosisto's
Bosisto's   DM

Hi Sue Apologies that you've been so frustrated with the new bottle design. We have removed the spout to make the container more recylable, in the process saving 4.5 tonnes of plastic per year as part of our ongoing commitment to reducing our eco footprint. However user experience is still important, so I'll definitely pass on your feedback to the team. We're listening and always willing to try and do better. Kind Regards, Bosisto's Team.

I totally agree - The spout was great - the new bottles are dreadful to use. Needs a solution or you’ve lost this loyal customer. I like the idea above of a spout that you can reuse (above)

I have histamine intolerance. Are any of the ingredients high histamine, histamine-releasers, or DAO-inhibitors? Thanks

Bosisto's
Bosisto's   DM

Hi, I've bought this up with our R&D team but unfortunately they don't know the answer to this one. The clothing washed in the product has been tested against a sensitive skin panel with no reaction, but without knowing names of possible trigger ingredients, we cannot confirm if there are high histamine, histamine-releasers, or DAO-inhibitors in the product. Do you have a list of specific ingredients in cleaners which may trigger these reactions? Otherwise we would suggest discussing with your GP or the team managing your condition to see which products they suggest you avoid. Bosisto's Team.

Unfortunately the only way to know is to check each ingredient.

Yes should be fine. Just use a little less if you're using it in a new machine as they can all be a bit different. A smaller amount will get great results.

Bosisto's
Bosisto's   DM

Hi Neil Our Sensitive Laundry liquid is Alkaline – which helps with the washing process.

If you're after a pH neutral laundry liquid – we suggest our Wool and Delicate wash – which is designed for natural fibres.

ANY product that does not list the FULL ingredients on the packaging calls to be concerned about. They are definately hiding something otherwise it would be listed on there clear as day. Eucalyptus is only 1 ingredient that they keep raving on about, what about the rest..? Strange how people aren't being emailed back...

Yes, this is a great everyday washing liquid to remove dust mites and their allergens. We cannot make a 'kills dust mites' claim but it does remove dust mites. If you are looking for a product that kills dust mites we also do this specialty product: external link

As well as this Dust Mite Spray: external link

Both only available online at the moment. Kind Regards, Bosisto's Team.
