Is there any ‘new car’ or plasticy kind of smell from these when first installed? or ongoing? Ive had some air purifier brands trigger asthma due to this ongoing new plastic smell (gave it months to off-gas by still smelled) - other brands dont have the smell and no asthma.

So now im trying to figure out which brand air conditioner won’t be problematic. It seems some brands manufacturing practices/materials just don’t agree with me.

Also, Is it made in china? There was a made in china sticker on the display unit i saw but i thought these were meant to be Aussie manufactured?

I have a 2.5kw Daikin Zena air conditioner in my bedroom. The green operational light is affecting my husbands sleep, he has dementia. How can I turn the green operational light off?

Thank you very much. The operational light is off and I do not need to cover it with tape. Problem solved with easy solution. Regards Susanna

My 5kw system does not service my 34m2 space. It’s been checked and double checked. It’s been confirmed several times that it is the correct size. My space is super insulated with no west walls and no direct sun. I need a bigger unit. I think this is a consumer issue and it is not fit for purpose.
