I have water leaking from the water tank it is probably the seal in the bottom. Is this a replaceable part or is it necessary to buy a new tank
Where can i purchase a new water tank ?. Or do I need to purchase a new machine?
My coffee (I usually use Flat White or Cafe au Lait original capsules) from the Gusto MiniMe is not warm enough, but it used to be. My machine is old - I have it for almost 6 years now, but if there is a way i can try to solve this problem, I would love to without getting a new one. Any help? Thanks in advance! :)
what does it mean when they say to put 200 mls of water in milk pod then so much water in coffee pod
I just love this machine but I have a problem with water leaking from where I put the pod in. It runs down the front from the back of the pod area and misses the drip tray by running down the back of it, ending up with water under the tray and on the bench. Would appreciate it if anyone knows how to fix this problem???? This machine makes great coffee!!!!
Will a 15cm /6inch coffee glass fit into the machine?
The second generation machines can go up to 350ml (12oz), basically enough to fill a typical mug. Nescafé sell a Dolche Gusto branded 350ml stainless steel thermal travel mug with lid that has an inner cup size of 13cm, so your 15cm glass should fit. If not, try angling the cup as it fills but be careful not to let hot water drip onto your fingers!
I have just been given my MINI ME machine & have been told that I can use reusable pods. So far just water comes out also I have tried powdered milk in one with the same results. Please help!!!
Hi - I'm not sure you can use reusable pods, I only use the pods once and throw away after use. You might have been informed incorrectly?
Cheers.
Hi, I think by stating reusable they mean recycle able, you can send used pods back. Once the coffee in the pod has been expressed its job is done. Taff.
Thanks to both but I think I was sold the wrong size pods and they are now going back.
Hello Everyone, Sorry for the late reply but let me assure you that there are RE-USABLE pods available [maybe re-fillable is a better description] for your Mini Me. I bought mine from eBay and come in a box of three and cost around $28. I have been using them for over a year so the cost per use is minimal. I refill each pod with the ground coffee of my choice and the final cost is much cheaper too. I recently tried a cheaper set of 4 for less than $10 but they weren't very good. Obviously the pods are the same physical size as the usual disposable pods.
I hope the above solves the mystery.

Yes you can reuse the pods, provided you cut one pod 1/4 from the top and the another one 3/4 from the bottom.put the 1/4 pod on top of the 3/4 pod, that way it will formed a sealed vaccum. once you put your coffee inside the reused pods and inserted inside the machine, make sure you align the top away from the broken top seal. youtube or pinterest it, that's where i got it from, but you are wasting your time with this coffee machine, coffee plunger is way better and cheaper than this machine.
Another way I have reused pods is to wash them out completely, then refill again with your desired ground coffee putting all the bits back the way they were with new coffee grounds. Cover and seal tightly with foil over the top to replicate the sealed lid usually on the pod. (Sometimes a double thickness works better). just make sure it's sealed tightly and not too much overhang or it doesn't fit in the capsule slot properly. Works exactly the same and you get to choose your own favourite coffee to use.
Does anyone know if you can make a mug full of coffee from this machine? I have a nespresso cube that only makes a teeny weeny cup lol :)
Hi, with mine if I want a weaker long black I add some water first and then put the pod in. I would think that in a bigger cup I would let it run longer with out the water first. But I would imagine that the shot/s of coffee in the pod are measured to the correct amount of water needed for a regular coffee cup, to get a good flavoured brew. You could consider using two pods per mug. Ha Ha.
Cheers Taff
Thank you Taff :)
Actually you can make a mug of coffee with this machine. A mug of black coffee is easy if you use the 'Americano' coffee pods and set the water lever to the value suggested on the pod [7]. This equates to 220 Ml. A Mug of 'Flat White' could be made using 2 pods I guess. Our regular cup of coffee uses one pod [Lungo] and the water is set to 4 as suggested on the pod giving us 125Ml of coffee. We then add the milk to this.
Hope this helps.
Thank you so much Sam393 :)
Hi! Does this come with a milk frother?
Hi, no it does not have a frother it uses pods with powdered milk I suspect. I only drink long black so have not tried other styles.
Cheers Taff
Hi Jacqs, no but it froths the milk as it pours into your mug. Cheers.
Hi Jacqs, Unfortunately it does not come with a milk frother. You will need to purchase one seperately - maybe ALDI have one suitable. We bought a caffitaly unit but unfortunately the current model does not have the capacity to make two cups at the same time. The previous model did. Good luck with your search.
Sam.
Thank you for the feedback everyonell. I ended up exchanging it for a different machine. Cheers
Is it possible to use other brands of capsules in my "Mini Me" machine???
Hi there, I haven't found any other brand that fits yet :)
I find the Nescafé ones are a bit cheaper most of the time
No, only Dolce Gusto will fit
Hi. I fill up my machine with water every night so it's ready to use in the morning but I noticed there's a bit of water leaking from the back at the bottom of the machine. Is it not advisable to leave water in the water compartment?
Hi there, I leave water in mine overnight and at the most it has done a tiny dribble of water from the bottom as there are seals intact in both the base and the water holder, so I would probably call the manufacturer and see what they say :)
