eDivorce Questions & Answers
VerifiedHi, I purchased a property settlement kit and my orders were approved. Do i have to do anything else? Thanks
Hello, thank you for your question. Congratulations on having your orders approved. You and the other party will now need to follow the orders made by the court within the relevant timeframes as set out in the consent order form. I hope this helps. Kind regards, Edivorce Australia.
The price of $99 Is that all the monies that need to be paid -are there other court costs or any other costs to finalise the divorce
Sorry to take business from eDivorce however its now possible to do the whole process online free and up to date with the official application on federalcircuitcourt.gov.au.
And yes there is a cost to file regardless of which platform you use for your application.
Hi JGR, thank you for your enquiry. Our $99 fee will provide you with a fully completed Application for Divorce PLUS a free copy of our Step-by-Step Divorce eGuide (normally $29). You will need to pay a separate fee directly to the Family Court at the time when you file your application. The current fee is $930 or $310 for the reduced fee. We can assist you with the relevant information and forms to apply for the reduced fee if eligible. Please don't hesitate to contact our Support Team at support@edivorce.com.au if you have any further questions. Kind regards, eDivorce Australia.
