I have the same issue as the last three reviews. I have thrown out so much food since we had a power cut, due to everything in the fridge freezing. Any suggestions would be appreciated
Go through your insurer. Our power lines went down in the 9th Feb storms, and when we were reconnected 3.5 days later, everything in the fridge compartment froze. We contacted our insurer, had a serviceman come out to write a report, and he said it was motor fusion, for which our insurance covered us for. We had spoilage and medicine's paid out, and they are paying us out for a new fridge. After much research, we're buying a Mitsubishi Electric, which is sturdy, has excellent reviews, and a 5 year standard warranty. We'll never buy another Electrolux.
The power went off for a few hours now the fridge section is freezing. Repairman came and cleared a small amount of ice around the fins in the back of the freezer but it’s still doing the same. What next, thermostat?
