My 75 DX-GL freezes on one side as in -23 and on the other side sits on 26. It stays like this no matter what temperature you set it to.
Hi. I have a down under 75L dual zone fridge freezer. About 11/12 months old. Probably used on 6 trip about a week long each. Turned the fridge on to cool for an upcoming trip, the next morning I noted that the panel is off and the compressors aren’t running. The internal lights are on and it is receiving power. What is the next step?
Maybe you had a power surge or cut overnight? Turn back on and see what happens
All appears to be working fine however just not getting cold, no fault lights etc. Any ideas?
Having the same issue. All lights working but not getting cold and no error codes or showing. Only been used 4 times. Won’t cool at all on 12v or 240v. Will let you know if I find anything out.

I have the Kickass version of the 75 litre/74 litre fridge showing error code of two flashes suggesting the fan is faulty, can I purchase a replacement fan from the factory in Caloundra?

It depend when you purchased the fridge. We haven't made fridges for KickAss for a few years now so you may need to go back to them regarding this issue.

Just a head up on this. If you call Kick Ass about their Evakool made fridges they’ll tell you that they don’t sell them anymore and you need to contact Evakool.
I did go to evakool, purchased a fan and whoe! Everything is fine again, and still going fine!
A review has made mention that there is a misprint in the manual regarding voltage usage. Should I be running my unit on Low or High so that it doesn't cut out until 11V? Cheers, Sharon
Hi I cannot help on that one. I always ran it on low. I gave my Everkool away as it was always failing. Now have an Engel and a Dometic. Both work well and touch wood not failed once.

We put both sides on freezer and now we can't get it to go back to fridge one side freezer the other
My 80l glacier gave up the ghost twice. All to do with control board. Repaired under warranty. Packed up again out near Narrabri so have to auto electrician guy or $50 and left it there. Highly susceptible to voltage drop. Stopped working lost temp and about 34 hours later started on its own and then ran for 24 hrs and froze everything even though temp set at 5degrees. Now using an old Engel Eclipse and a stand along Brass Monkey as Freezer 25l. No problems. Woco
Glacier twin 75 l. Stopped working showing 5 flashes. Fan not working so replaced it. Compressor started but cooling very slowly. Set both sides at minus 2. Only achieved 3 on LHS and 7 on RHS then showed orange lights and compressor off. Disconnected and tried to re- start. 5 flashes error code. Thump from compressor then nothing. Reset, checked power supply (12.5 V at fridge) 240 OK. Finally got to start and temp showing on 3. Compressor came on and temp increased to 7 degree ( set at -2). Stayed there for min 1 hr. 2.5 yr old - not happy. Shows 3 flashes when trying to start and compressor tries but doesn’t run.

Hi Andrew. A 5 flash error is related to a high ambient temperature. We suggest visiting a local service agent for further assistance as your fridge could be overheating, hence why it's struggling to maintain temperatures. Things to check for would be clogged condenser, fan operation, all electrical connections OK and sufficient ventilation to all vents on the fridge.

Thanks but I have already replaced fan, blown out the condenser and checked all connections. At ambient temp of 32’ day and 25 night I can’t see this being the problem. I will bring it to you for checking. Incidentally should the fan be blowing into the compartment towards the condenser or sucking out of it through condenser? The cabinet does seem to get very hot blowing from out through condenser in towards compressor.
Hi Andrew. The fan is designed to draw heat away from the condensor. Have you tried running your fridge in emergency mode for 10-15 minutes? Do this with your fridge hooked up to 240V (emergency mode means your fridge runs non stop until you turn emergency mode off). Sometimes this can clear any fault codes on the compressor module and get your fridge back up and running.

I give up! Running on emergency fridge still will not cool. In fact large side increased from 6 - 9 when turning on boost. Not very good for a fridge less than 3 yrs old! Will deliver it to Caloundra for final condemnation at your factory.

Are the prices of the new fridges cheaper in the showroom in Caloundra? Or same as other shops who sell it?
the showroom sells seconds, so can be cheaper. I have a second glacier 74l - its OK but the mobile app doesn't work (on any platform) and the fridge throws errors unless the voltage is perfect.

25th anniversary model two weeks out of warranty and the left side wont go below 20 degrees and the right wont go below 6 degrees. Not happy. Don't think I will be suggesting Evakool to anyone.
I have the exact same problem with the same fridge. Piece of junk. Bought an Engle yesterday.
Went away for a month, was turned off, came back turned it on now cant set temperatures on both sides/ had unit for 18months.

hi im stuck between two dual zones the kickass 71liter fridge freezer and the evakool 75 liter please help.
Anyone had trouble with these running inside a car or ute canopy? I've got a Kickass branded 75L dual zone set to -18 and regularly hits -5 seen as high as +3 though.
I think if it’s really hot they will struggle regardless, mine will struggle on a hot day on the slide that comes out of our camper trailer in the shade. If your in and out of them and adding hot stuff to them that will affect them a fair bit. I also have a evakool drawer fridge that is mounted in a alloy canopy in Qld, 39 C today and the beers were still 2C
