Fisher & Paykel Front Loader WH80F60W1 (8kg) Questions & Answers
VerifiedMy Machine on button isn't staying on but keeps coming back out again... Is there a way to fix this?
i need a parts manual for this model.
I need a manual for this washing machine.
Failing to spin or spins slow leaving clothes wet. Fault was intermittent but has finally stopped spinning at high speed. Completes cycle to finish.18 months ago replaced motor brushes. Is a rebranded berko.
How do you remove and replace the front cabinet bellows
The digital display is stuck. How can I reset the machine?
I am wanting to run a cleaning cycle, but I can’t remember what cycle to do this on? No info in the manual.
I would run a normal wash cycle with no clothes in the machine and let it run through.
Run a wash cycle with nothing in there. Use baking soda or white vinegar
Is there a way to manually open the door as mine is stuck after the cycle is finished?
Some models have a manual release option - open the door to the filter, there may be a slot that will accept a coin and turn / slide. Not sure about this model, and I can't check as we've just sent ours off to the great spin cycle in the sky
Our machine turns on but when you press start door doesn't lock and then pause: start button flashes. Sometimes we've opened and closed the door and it seals and starts. Would this be the door seal gone? Machine is 9years old. Wondering if it's worth having checked and repaired? thanks
Sounds like the door mechanism is failing to register when closed - telling the machine to start. Given that you pay a call-out fee with no guarantee of repair, if it works by re-shutting the door I'd be inclined to live with it. Check that there is no lint / rubbish caught in the door catch.
Thanks. Up until now it has worked by re shutting the door. But from yesterday it wont work when door is open and shut countless times. Will give the lock a clean over and the cavity it goes into. Much appreciated
Any other suggestions?
Hi Caz. We are having exactly the same issue with our machine. We had one repair guy who charged us $90 to tell us he couldn’t fix it. Don’t really want to just throw it away. Did you get anywhere with your machine?
Hi BMac. We decided to go a new machine. Waiting for someone to come, then Weighing up cost of repair and parts (if it could be fixed) Just went a new Asko machine.
What is the spin speed for model no WH80F60W1?
I think it went up to 1000 which made the clothes very dry.
For WH60F60W*, WH70F60W* & WH80F60W* models: On Spin Cycle, it is 1200 RPM Maximum.
