Supports the babies back in the swing is it just soft material or is there a hard plastic and then the material over top?

My bubba is 3 months old and loves his swing although the motor is on its way out not real pleased as he has only used it a handful of times and he can sleep through the motor creeking but its sending me batty im wondering how i can get another motor sent to me

Not that I'm aware of. Best option would be to email Fisher-Price & they'll be able to let you know. It may be a faulty unit & if you brought it new & still have the receipt maybe even call where you brought it & find out if it can be replaced under warranty.
