Hfd635 French door fridge power on light and front display working. Compressor and fan not working?. What is the wrong.

The water has stopped going in to the icemaker. It just pours out the back. The water dispenser still works fine. Any suggestions?

So my 3 year old fridge (this model) has stopped keeping things cool, and the freezer is defrosting. You would think for this price that it would last longer than 3 years or is this just a disposable brand? Seriously was very happy with this unit until now. My last fridge before this was an LG and too small but is still working to this day and is 12 years old. Please advise what I can do with this. It is too good to just throw out and should be fixed in my opinion from the company that made it. Obviously the compressor is just crap.

Is this a plumbed water system? Does the ice come out of the dispenser on the door?
