VY Adventra LX8 .. no electricity to the rear tailgate glass door lock .. is there a fuse somewhere .. just bought .. any ideas ? .. appreciate, need to lock ..

My daughter's 2004 Adventra Crosstrac lx8 lost power on the way home today. A passing mechanic had a look at it and said there might be a hole in the vacuum or hose???. Car would start up but had no acceleration? Any ideas?

What type of oil do you need for the engine

Hi All, Have an interior lighting failure, all above lighting gone out and all four door panel lights too. Glove box , centre console and tail gate lights still work. Button C on sunroof switches won’t shut the sunroof either, of which has only occurred since the interior light problem showed up. I’ve tried chasing the issue by replacing fuses , even tho non were blown. I’ve pulled the above central light sunroof control panel apart and all seems well in there too. Weird one! Any thoughts re a next path to try. Thanks Phil.

Hi , can anyone share if they’ve had this issue in their LX 8 Adventra. Interior lighting has gone, centre roof lights, both rear passenger roof sides and all 4 lower door lights. All others are working, ie tailgate , glovebox, central console. Also, I’ve noticed the close C button won’t shut the sunroof. I’ve tackled a few looky paths by checking and changing fuses around and pulled the centre roof dome light panel out and fully inspected for any broken or loose wires. Globes all look like new too. Weird one!!!! Any thoughts out there of a possible area to look at next. Thanks Phil.

What does it mean when the power train keeps coming up what do I need to fix

I have owned a 2006 sx 6 since new and a continual warning appears when starting up. POWERTRAIN NEEDS TO BE CHECKED. The car has not lost any power and I have had two versions of the fault. New coils and whatever need to be replaced and most recently that an emissions control fitting which reads the exhaust needs to be replaced . The car has travelled from Kempsey to Sydney and return with this warning at 8.91litres to the 100 klms. Can you assist with a response.
