is the Hoover Heritage 5210 still available ? if so Where
Probably no longer available, but my two still perform brilliantly despite their age.
My Hoover heritage 5210 has stopped working, whilst trying to recharge it the indicator light is flashing red, any idea what’s going on?
Hi Stephen, We are sorry to hear of the issues you are experiencing. The machine may need a replacement battery. Unfortunately the batteries are not sold separately, these came as part of the replacement handvac. The handvacs can be purchase through Godfreys for $99.95 AUD. Regards, The Hoover Team

Hi, my vacuum has suddenly stopped charging ie no red light comes on when in the charging cradle. At the moment there is still battery power but obviously that's running low and when that runs out, the vacuum won't work. It can't be a battery issue, any other suggestions? Thanks.

Hi ,I have a Heritage 5210 ,Hardly any use ,mainly because I can not keep the Battery charged ,it charges and only goes for about 40 seconds wether I leave it on the charger for 1,2 or 20 hours ,right from nearly new ,well out of warranty now because I CANT use it .

$99.95 ,I paid less than that for the Whole Vecuum cleaner, Bit Stiff having to pay for a new Battery when it has hardly been used ,Definitely not Pension Rates there !Thank you for answering

can the filter in the canister be washed. Just purchased a new filter for my Heritage. Old was cardboard fibre, this seems plastic.

Battery replacement: Ours has been great. Had for a few years now. After being on charge for long period, it only works for a few minutes and cuts out. Presume its the battery's use by date has expired.
Being a long-time owner of the excellent 5210, I cant really comment on the battery other than suggest to let the battery go really really flat, then charge it and see what happens. I was also going to suggest that you got your money's worth (you get what you pay for) and buy a new one for $90 from Godfreys, only to find out theyre now selling at $199! Or $188 plus $9 delivery on ebay!

My Brush roller stops spinning after 10-15 seconds of vacuuming even if I’m not moving it, I have cleaned everything taken the roller out put it back in bought a new filter it keeps stopping and the green light goes out ????

I would go to Jaycar electronics. If you remove the battery and give them a call they can tell you if they have it in stock. Ebay after that if no success

How do I detach the dust container from the hand hold
the red button above the light display (that shows recharge) will pop it open to empty. it pops back together easily

Hi Godfrey G., I'm jumping in here, as you seem to know your stuff. I have a Hoover Heritage 5210 , it doesn't charge anymore , what is the problem , battery or charger and what can I do ? I love the versatility of the Vac! Regards Paul.
I cleaned my vac and waited for everything to be 100% dry. The small detachable vac still works and has suction, but now the roller on the head wont spin and pick up anything. All hair is removed and was working fine before but now nothing.
check in the head that there is not something blocking it, in the bend. we removed a plug of hair and fibres from ours with a wire hook.
Cleared it out already and still nothing..
