My performance plus robot vac is not charging Also worked beautifully for 3 week’s and now when nudging into chairs or table Just stops Help please

Occasionally the machine will stop and beep if stuck on furniture. When you say it stops does it power off? Also, I plugged my vac in a few weeks ago to charge and got no charge light. I contacted Hoover who said to return the item but next day I plugged it in again and it charged fine.
