The external 12 volt plug not working, the inside one is. Wondering where is the fuse for it?
How can I get the scree windows to retract, the wire has come out will not rolling back in, it's a discovery poptop outback only 4 months and 2 trips old
Does the shower drain have a non return valve, looks very much like there is one, it’s plastic and it’s flange faces are screwed (3 off) together ?
Pulled it off and it is a non return valve, it provides an area were hair and other scum can get caught and restrict flow from shower, needs regular checking and cleaning
Having problem with water leak in wardrobes during minor rainfall. Anyone with same issue? How can this be rectified?
No, not at this stage, could your front boot be leaking and it is coming in from there?
Suggest you check the sealant at the front where the nose meets with the body. Also all sealenf if the van is out of warranty ( meaning it’s a few yrs old)
We had this we found water was getting in around the outside light above the cupboard. Husband ran a hose on it while I watched the cupboard. Jayco fixed fo us
Has anyone had problems with a leak from heavy rain coming through the fridge vent from outside the van? We have just once again noticed water all through the bottom of our cupboards and floor of van and after lots of investigation, have been able to track it back to the fridge vent over wheel arch. When we took the vent off, all the wiring behind fridge is absolutely drenched. A little concerning, any advice??
What is the correct way or order to “pop up” eg ensuite first then above bed one, then what order to put it down again? Having a small issue with when down not quite aligned to allow the clips to be exact. Any thoughts much appreciated. 1st trip away Jayco journey outback 2017
Sorry can’t answer, we have a 13ft. Can’t seem to change heading on this post
Ensuite first, bed second, on up. Bed first, then ensuite on down. It really shouldn't make much difference, if it keeps being off you may have to adjust the roof alignment on the lifters, the screw holes are slotted to allow this.
Is the standard solar that comes with an outback 2018 enough to run a portable fridge freezer?
We upgraded ours to 180 plus also have a portable 120 solar blanket and had no issue with our portable fridge freezer or standard fridge freezer. It's all relevant when off grid had to use generator when had a few days of little sun.
Also we have 2 x 100ah batteries.

Hi i have a 2015 outback Journey 17 ft & have discovered lately that i am having tyre wear on the inside tread of my 4 tyres , please explain ?
Get alignment done . Have heard of one Journey owner only getting 4000Km out of a full set of tyres. Said Jayco not interested.
Thanks Dave, being independently sprung, I wasn’t sure how much could be done, certainly can’t see where axles can be adjusted, having said that I will certainly investigate your suggestion Regards Gary
Had a rear tyre wearing on the outside had a wheel alignment done at a truck alignment factory all good now

Mine is a jayco journey and its under the double bed
We recently bought a 2014 Outback poptop. The roof is very heavy to lift, any suggestions to make this easier would be welcome. Thanks in advance, cheers Eddy
mine isnt easy to lift, it takes a bit of effort, i was told thats normal. hope that helps
you can change the struts to a better lifting capacity , i have and it works well cost about 500 done at devon street lonsdale sa
Thank you both for the response. I thought I may not be doing something correctly. I do not have struts, merely a mechanical fulcrum lever. I think I will go to a Jayco dealer and see what they can offer. Thanks again cobber and Graham, cheers
The struts are on the outside
Yep thanks, didn't notice them before. Spoke with Jayco centre. Will change to better lifting capacity.
Buy some scissor lifts from your rv store easy to fit on front & rear of roof , makes lifting the roof twice as easy
Thanks Gary, will check that out. Was not aware of this sort of gadget. Cheers
Mine was very heavy due to roof top air cond and solar panels. Had The the air bag system fitted which works off your battery. It’s brilliant. Takes 15 seconds to lift your roof and no back pain.
The gas struts are on the outside.
where do I find an opps. manual for a single axle 2019 Jayco Journey with shower and toilet that relates to the operation of van storage tanks and taps
Does it have solar power as a standard option?
No
yes a 120 watt solar panel, regulator and deep cycle battery are standard on the outback
Yes, Mike is correct and ours works great, good charge rate on most days.
Do they have solar panels as standard?

Hi, looking at a Journey outback 2015 2016 mod and just wondering what size genset I would need to run the Air conditioner?
Thanks
Hello Craig, Bought a 3.5kW sine wave generator from Trade Tools Direct in Brisbane for under $1000. It pushes out 15 Amps of current, which is as much as you can get from a Caravan Park. Can run everything in the van at once! Cheers, John
The Honda 2.1 will run the A/C very efficient & Quiet
