Kambrook Dual KRH300 Questions & Answers
VerifiedMPN: KRH300WHTHow do I turn off the thermostat? I want to set it to a different setting.
Hi all at Kambrook Would really appreciate knowing why the Kambrook KRH300WHT has been discontinued ? As with so many other things.. no sooner than a product is realised as being exceptionally good and in demand it then becomes obsolete. This heater is nigh on perfect taking into account the varied aspects of it. I am using mine for the fourth Autumn/Winter season now but it is showing signs that it is coming to the end of it's life cycle, so now am struggling to replace with same because of discontinuation. The only drawback with this heater as with any other kind of heater is the power consumption.. fault of the power companies. This heater positively covered all aspects of requirement, needs and satisfaction and above all.. is a pleasing white color instead of drab black. so I can't imagine why you would delete this line and fantastic product. All that is needed to run the heater safely and carefully is common sense. Please reinstate manufacture of heater or explain reason if not. Or ultimately.. assist me in finding exact replacement. Thanking you kindly, Respectfully, Lana Gutman
I absolutely agree Lana. I have this heater and it is one of the best heaters. I went to buy a second one only to find they were discontinued. The heat settings are great. It is sturdy and safe and really just everything about this heater ticks the boxes. But as usual the best things go off and the shelves and we are left with products that are no where as good to buy. I bought another heater that looked similar and was a different brand but it was by no means as good as this Kambrook heater. I still have my Kambrook and I am beside it now and I hope it goes for years as there is nothing I can find that is superior to this particular Kambrook model at this time.
Where can I buy this heater in the Newcastle nsw area
Why has this heater been discontinued
I just bought the kambrook upright fan heater which is of 2400 watt. It is working well but when i transferred or moved while its working, it instantly stops and need to fix the cable attached to the heater to restart it again. Whats the matter with it ? Is it for the safety purpose or its the problem with cable ?

This heater don’t have any fan!
HI Kambrook,
1) Does this model have a fan element to it?
2) Is this model a Radiant + Convection heater?
Hi There,
Yes it does have the fan as well. So this model is a Radiant + Convection heater all in one.
This model has a fan also it is a radiant and a convection
Thank you so much all for taking the time to reply me <3
Hi J How, 1) There is no fan in this heater. 2) Yes, this model is a dual heater combining radiant and convection heat. The heater will warm up the air in a room as well as objects within close proximity by pulling air in to the heater, then pushing the warmed air back out.

I have this heater, there is NO fan whatsoever in this model, it is just radiant and convection. To those who said it has a fan, just where did you get that from? Does convection mean the same as a fan on an electric heater
Portable heaters contain one or more heating element that when an electric current is passed through, produce heat. The heat can be transferred to the room directly (radiant) or air passed over the element, warmed up, and circulated back into the room (convection).
Convection heating is when the air in a room comes in contact with a warm surface. Air moves over the body of an operating oil heater, which heats up the air itself, causing it to increase in volume, become buoyant and rise, warming the room. Because convection heat replaces cold air with warm, it can warm up a room usually more efficiently than radiant heaters.
Radiant heating is best for warming objects in close proximity to it i.e. the people and objects in a room rather than the air.
Radiant/Convection heating is a combination of both. It will warm up the air in a room as well as objects within close proximity by pulling air in to the heater, then pushing the warmed air back out using a fan behind the element.
