Karcher Robocleaner RC 3000 Questions & Answers
VerifiedIs $750 too much to pay for a second hand one? Don't know how old it is but is working well.
Hi Kathy, that is certainly a reasonable price. Keep in mind Karcher has ceased production entirely so the only new ones you'll find on eBay have highly inflated prices. The RC3000 is incredibly robust and reliable, even after 3 years mine is performing perfectly.
You can still order spare parts for it too. As long as you can test it to ensure it still vacuums well and returns to its base, I see no issue.
Thank you very much.
I am heartbroken by the news of the robocleaner not being in production anymore. I have been saving to buy one as I don't think any other bots compare in reliability and functionality. Where did you get this info from? I tried to check to see if spare parts and service will still be provided but no info available anywhere. I really think is terrible news, best vacuum robot by a huge margin and it disappears. THANKS!
Hi! Yes it is sad news indeed. I was a reseller of the devices (shipped them straight from the Karcher factory in Germany). I was informed by headquarters in Germany that Karcher are definitely not making anymore units but will be selling spare parts for quite some time.
If you check eBay there are still some available (albeit at more than double the the price I bought them from Karcher).
If you need more info, happy to help!
Many thanks for the prompt reply. I will buy one before they totally go of the market. Thanks!
