I purchased my LG 570LMBNL (non plumbed) 6 months ago . The replace water filter icon has come on . I followed instructions in opening the filter container only to find there is no filter in the cradle . I assumed it is part of the purchase . Is this the case .

This model(non-plumbed) does not has water filter as you may required to manually clean your water dispenser. The indicator filter is for your air filter that needs to be replaced not the water filter. Hope this help.

Hi Ron, Of course, prior to purchasing the refrigerator, check the dimensions to make sure that it will fit in the available space. Specifications can be found here external link . Not too sure what information you need, about installing the refrigerator. I bought a surge protector & plugged the fridge into it. Apparently, the most common causes of refrigerator failures are lightning strikes or power surges so a surge protector makes sense. The fridge is non plumbed, so doesn't require connection to a water outlet. You may need to adjust the front feet, with the provided spanner, to level the fridge left to right & to give a slight tilt towards the rear. This will ensure that the doors tend to self-close. If the doors are out of alignment, you will need to adjust them as described in the instruction manual. Instruction download can be found here external link

Once you've done all of the above, the installation is complete.

Hope this helps,

Kev H
