My roboking 2.0 VR6170LVM will not turn on. All of the red lights display but it doesn't make a noise or try and boot up, the lights just stay on display until the battery dies, any ideas on what might cause this and how to fix?

Have you tried ringing from where you brought it from?

Bought second hand a few years back now but from what I've gathered service places don't know much about how to fix these

I should have previously mentioned I've just swapped out the left wheel, all wiring is correctly reassembled. Just wondering if I may have damaged a circuit board and which one it may be in order to fix.

My white round roboking will only go backwards in a circle. Is there something I can do to fix this problem?

My Roboking 2.0 is not charging. It says battery is low but nothing happens when I dock it

Try replacing the battery, we've had this issue before and a new battery fixed it right up!

My LG HOM-BOT 2.0 has suddenly decided to only go backwards. I have cleaned EVERYTHING (wheels, bin, sensors etc.). It doesn't have a bumper so it's not that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please check suction motor

Why does it stop and yet there is still two thirds battery left

Ian

If the cleaner returns to its charging station, the bin may be full up. If the bin is not full up, the cleaning programme may need to be adjusted to increase the area. If the cleaner stops but does not return to the charging station, a service call may be required

I have no idea as I don’t use one anymore.

My robo 2.0 ring cleans a certain route, docks, charges and only wants to do the the same route. Either zig zag mode or cell by cell just does the same area on the cell route. Lg support centre have no information on the robo vac (quoted from call centre). What can be done?

remote control unit not working

I have this wonderful machine who decided to keep telling me to check the brushes. I did and nothing seemed to be wrong. Eventually I took it to the recommended service centre in town who knew nothing about them. They replaced the brushes and sadly as it was 2 months out of warranty, this cost me over $100. Got it home and guess what?! leaves home base, buzzes around for a few minutes then goes straight back. I've done everything the troubleshooting says and now I feel like I've wasted a ton of money on something that for the price, should last longer than this. Anyone got any suggestions as I don't want to throw it out!! but it's collecting dust rather than sucking dust up!

I have a VR6170LVM from 2012. Has had new wheel motors, new suction motor and new battery. Still works well when it goes, except now it is hanging during the power-on sequence. When pressing the on button the unit all lights come on, then the ring LED's start going in a circle. It used to do maybe one or two circles before playing a tune and being ready for action but now it keeps circling indefinitely. It's odd because occasionally it will turn on then be able to run through a vacuum program fine. The service centre is an hour drive plus $80 just to look at it. Want to know if it's possibly worth my trouble or should just bin it.

Cheers

Wish I could help you out on that one, have you read the trouble shooting guide?

Brad

Yeah no luck with that unfortunately. It's based around the machine telling you what's wrong. I rang LG Tech Support and they said take it to service centre.

Does anyone else's LG roboking get 'stuck' in the square of light coming in from floor to ceiling windows? We have the latest roboking version and when our curtains are open it will use the entire 2 hrs of run time 'stuck' in the small area created by the light. As it's set to cell by cell mode I can't even move it as it tries to return. Very frustrating when you get home and it's cleaned a 2x2 meter area instead of 3 rooms

My right brush isn’t rotating, which in fact is affecting th whole vacuum!!! Any ideas? We have pulled it apart for a clean, and it’s just stopped working.

My roboking is cleaning in a spot even though it is set to zig zag. The remote is no longer avle to be used. I have cleaned all the sensors and completely cleaned the unit with an air compressor. Do you have any other suggestions?

JustG
JustG

Perhaps try it off in a different spot, check your brushes, make sure everything underneath isn’t stiff and moves freely, hope this helps..

My lg square hom-bot "VR34406LV" keeps repeating "main power switch on the back off the robot cleaner is turned off, please turn the switch on" it does this even after i have repeatedly turned of and on the power switch on both the docking station and the vacuum cleaner. it does however start just as it should when but shortly after starting to charge the message starts and repeats over and over. Any ideas?
