Dear all, please be advised that never ever bank with Macquarie Bank, they are scammer, they advertised how good are their services and interests, just to attract people to set up account with them, after that, they will ripping off all your money by saying that you have a suspicious account going on then they will freeze your account and refuse to respond immediately to you, then they will get all your money in their own pocket, beware,
I have the same problem they say they will get back to you and they never do just wasting your time and stealing your money
They are vile, They will take your home even if there is a viable solution to avoid it. please share. external link

Has anyone had problems with the DEFT payment system on recurring payment system. As have for the past six weeks but they try and blame where the payment comes from,but on checking found out that there is no problems.

i dont know why you would be asking here for the logical thing to do would be to ring the bank or apply on line
Could you please explain your approach to customer suicide and how you deal with the Mental Health of your customers and X customers? Do you still discuss suicide as being a helpful option for your customers? Maybe save answering the last question for when we are both standing in front of a Judge.

I would choose simply on best interest rates and term any bank as they are govt guaranteed as I understand it... Up to 250k

Don’t bank with macquarie, not worth stressing yourself out, I was gonna do that but when you try using your card they will lock it straight away, if there’s any number lower than zero that’s the rate that I will give them
Hi, I was just wondering was it 3 or 4 times in the last 2 weeks you told me that my case manager would contact me? The last time you told me it will be tomorrow I said I would cancel my doctor's appointment and wait at home but still no call. Is this a cruel joke if so, It isn't very funny. I for one don't find the subject of customer suicide very funny at all.

I don't believe there is a time limit on decency, I believe your Customer Advocate and Complaints Department did not do due diligence when making your recent determination. Would you comment on the lack of detail you provided AFCA with when you replied to their request to speak with me? Would you also comment on your treatment of the mentally ill?
After reading the reviews I am worried about opening a term deposit with this bank. Is this what online banking is all about? I thank all the people that write in their views and am taking their advise to stay away from Macquarie Bank. A royal commission into this type of banking service should be held.
If you are after set and forget banking infrastructure and competitive interest rates for new customers, this might be a facility (bank to me conjures up some basic two way customer service) to consider. If you want basic customer service of any kind just in case you ever need something resolved in a timely manner then forget it. I wouldn’t open anything other than a loan facility with them.
the lack of any response from Macquarie Bank to the multitude of bad reviews give me the impression bad service is business as usual for them.
If you are wealthy you could do well with them, If you fault they will crucify you. I have been told 4 times in the last 2 weeks that my case manager will contact me tomorrow. Watch, them shut down when you bring up their position on customer suicide.

I want to explore holding individuals working for #MacquarieBank responsible for their decisions and gross treatment of customers. They shouldn't be able to hide behind a mega-corporation.
there is no support from the bank , they closed my account without my authorization , monies has been distributed without them know where it is . Now I am here chasing my funds . What happen it government guaranteed .

Avoid Macquarie Bank at all costs. They are only interested in making money for themselves not doing the right thing by there customers.
