Can you please tell me what the health benefits of the Luscious Licorice Tisane tea are? And is it ok to drink this tea daily?

Hi Kara Google say: "Licorice root is used to soothe gastrointestinal problems. In cases of food poisoning, stomach ulcers, and heartburn, licorice root extract can speed the repair of stomach lining and restore balance. This is due to the anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting properties of glycyrrhizic acid".

So I say happy tummy happy life! Drink uppppp Luscious Licorice Tisane - just goog the recommended daily amount and compare to the packaging info. Hope my non-expert, non-medically qualified opinion is helpful!! PS Have tried the tea and had a happy mummy tummy afterwards :)

Is madame flavour 'delicate green, jasmine and pear' tea low enough caffeine to drink through the night when you need to go back to sleep asap but are disturbed by pain? Thank you, regards Maggie. PS I LOVE your licorice tea, at more wakeful moments.

Hello Malla, thank you for reaching out. I'm Jane, I work with Madame Flavour. Green teas are lower in caffeine than coffee and black teas. The secret to lowering the caffeine level is to drink it weak. Traditionally green teas are not brewed with boiling water but with hot water. In China they say that the ideal water temperature is when the bubbles rise to the top but are not moving vigorously in the pot. For you I would say brew it until it is a pale green only before going to bed, not a sienna green colour.

If you are concerned, I would also recommend the Madame Flavour Mint and Lavender tisane as a soothing blend to have for sleep. The mint is excellent for digestion and focus while the lavender is ideal for calming and settling in. A drop of orange oil on your wrist or on a tissue by your pillow could also help to settle you back to sleep if you wake.

I'm glad to hear that you love the Licorice blend, the licorice root has a natural sweetness and is said to have anti inflammatory properties that may ease certain types of pain.
