Just bought an icon 2 with side burner, but side burner connections appear to be wrong or something missing. We have the actual side burner, and the valve assembly was pre connected to the flexible pipe from the gas bottle end, however to connection from the valve (knob end) to the side burner itself is not obvious and there is no air tight means of connecting the two. Any ideas ?
Yes, to the unfamiliar the absence of a single line from point A to B is concerting. Just follow the instructions as it is correct - there is no “direct” connection as the gas flows through the tube. It works well and seems to be a safe system. Hope that helps.
