Can the power cord of a UK fashion master steam iron be converted so it works in the USA?

Ironing board will not click into place when opened. Tower is all the way down. Any ideas?

The board does lock into position when folded away.
When I turn the iron on it is displaying fill drawer which I have done but it will not stop displaying this or turn on.
My iron is stuck in descale mode. Can’t get it to do anything. How to I reset it?
Can anyone help. I have the Miele B 2826 Fashion Master. Annoyingly when switched on, the panel to the left of the on/off button has two flashing lights. One is a red light and the other yellow light flashes 9 times. Despite going to the manual, I cannot get the iron to work. I think it is stuck possibly on the descale mode. I can't seem to reset it or get it to do anything. Called Miele UK - very unhelpful!
How do I remove the waste water drawer?
What is the green liquid that comes out of the iron when I put it on steam?
Can I buy a replacement iron for the B2826?.....

My fashion master B2826 won't come up from the fold away position
Hi Marya, Thank you for your question. Here is the excerpt from the B 2826 operating manual, page 60 (problem solving guide). The ironing board has disengaged although the tower was not in the lowest position.
Press and hold in the release button on the tower. Simultaneously turn the height adjustment dial all the way towards q and do not let go. Push the tower down to its lowest working position and then the release dial, followed by the release button. The ironing board can now be either dismantled or placed in a working position.
If the ironing board continues not to lock into place, call Miele.
