When you wake up, you wash the area of concern, the effects will not be affected as the area will remain for up to 7 days. Soap will not have a negative effect on the area. Do not scrub or rub too hard with a towel as the treated area is only 2-3 layers deep and this will cause you to exfoliate and then loose efficacy. You should moisturise in between application as the skin can become over dried and cause irritation.
