Nobo NTL4T Series Questions & Answers
VerifiedHas anyone had any issues with this unit depositing black residue on walls ?
Hi Fernando, thank you for reaching out to us. Generally this can be caused by dust heating and cooling so you may need to check and clean the panel and surrounding area. Thanks
The surrounding area and unit has been dustfree. The residue has exhausted from the rear grill of the unit from within. Perhaps a coating of sorts released as a gas under high temperature. I am not convinced that the minimal dust from within the unit would be converted to a soot-like black residue.
Thanks Fernando, that is the most common reason for this, You can send through some photos via direct message if you like and I can pass them on. Thanks
My Nobo ‘off’ timer is not working at all and the heater is being left on. Looking for advice on how to fix this?
Hated the Nobo timer so I went to BUNNINGS and bought a good quality timer this fixed all the issues.
Hi Danny, thank you for your question and I'm sorry to hear of this. Based on what you have described the timer would need to be replaced. Thanks
Just wondering how I can use my Nobo NTL4T heater simply without using a timer - just turning on & off as needed. Thank you if you can help me,
Hi Harry, Thank you for your question. I have included some simplified instructions on the timer settings and override. Please see below: File: https://cdn.productreview.com.au/document/thread-message/52974f45-ce85-5e47-beaa-9d0ca9d9f395 Thanks
Thank you very much! Best Harry
We have E-series Nobo heaters installed in most rooms of our house (17 heaters in total). We have found them to be good, but in recent winters, several heaters no longer work. Where can I get them repaired/serviced? We live in the southern suburbs of Melbourne.
Hi Chris, I'm sorry to hear of this I will reach out to you directly to get some additional information. Thanks
I purchased the 1kw heater. I want the night time temperature to be warmer then the day time temperature is this possible
Hi Lucy, please see the instructions below. This should assist in setting it up.: File: https://cdn.productreview.com.au/document/thread-message/c5e195fc-f952-5d37-9785-60507954b4c5 Thanks
The timer instructions that came with the product are not helpful. Is there a more comprehensive manual for Australia?
Hi Jennifer, Thank you for your question. Yes there is, I will message you directly. Thanks
Yes they drove is crazy too, Nobo emailed a translation ino "English" if you contact me at email baku2222@hotmail.com In the end I gave up went on ebay and bought a digital timer for $15 which is a 100% easier to use and works perfectly
Hi will this heater heat up a large room quite quickly? The room is tiled as it’s our kitchen/dining area?
Hi Ziza, Thank you for you question. Dependent on the ambient temperature it would heat up a room 24m2. There is no fan on the unit and the heating process relies on thermal dynamics, passive air flow i.e. cold air being pulled into the heater and passing over the element to warm and rise into the room. Thanks
my Nobo heater that I had for 6 years broke down near the end of last winter so in the middle of summer when Harvey Norman have their best heater discounts. my previous heater was so easy to work the straight forward timer, the new heaters enclosed directions just didnt make any sense - even though I had 6 friends all try to do it at different times!!! (it must have been translated from a foreign language into English) - after calls to their customer service they finally emailed some simpler directions - if you do get a Nobo then email me on baku2222@hotmail.com & I will send them to you. the Nobo heaters have a very nice heat & does use much electricity as we have a very large area (kitchen & lounge room) in our Townhouse, we just have to put a heavy curtain (old blanket) to block off the open area to walk up the stairs. cheers, Will Ross
Will, did you mean "does NOT use much electricity"?

Can a thermostat be fitted to a NTL4S07-FS40?
Hi Jack, I am unsure what you are asking. The NTL4S07-FS40 has a thermostat.
