I have had to mount my camera to the bottom of a wall mounted shelf. As a result, the feed is upside down. Is there a way to rotate this on the monitor?

Hi there, the VOX mode is designed to alert when noise is detected. If you have switched it off, then audio will stream through the baby monitor as normal. All the best, oricom.

Is there an option to have to screen stay on longer when watching baby it only seems to stay on for a few seconds then I have to push a button to get screen back on

Hi I have been using the Oricom secure 720 for 3 days. So far we are happy with it but I have found the camera unit to be warm to touch in the morning so I turn it off during the day (only need to use during the night) I have also found to turn the parent unit off I need to press the button really hard, Are both these issues normal?

Can you sync sc710 cameras with an sc720 monitor?

Hi I have the oricom secure 720 which I bought a few days ago. I have noticed that the reception on it is very low even when in the next room to the camera. Also it keeps dropping out with the lost link signal. I have tried to reset it but it hasn’t changed anything. Is there anything else that I can do? The reception should not be like this when only in the next room!

Definitely should not do that in the next room! I tried turning off both units and then turning the child unit first, then play some movies or YouTube with my phone (which is on the wifi) to make the traffic on the WiFi heavier before switching on the parent camera again. Worked once or twice but after that it just went back to the usual terrible signal again. I would suggest calling oricom to see what they can offer, we've had our child unit replaced and the problem came back again after a while. So frustrating!

Hi there, my Oricom camera unit has been on charge for over 20 hours.. when I take it off charge it dose not show a picture on the parent unit. Does the camera only worked if plugged into charge ?

No, it’s meant to work when out of the cradle.

My monitor was working fine 2 days ago, now the screen keeps switching off and comes back on intermittently. Vox is at level 5, and there is sound in the room- so it should be on. Any idea?

Does the camera always have to be plugged into the mains power in order to work? It can't work wirelessly when charged?

It works wirelessly when charged! Mine lasts roughly 6/7 hours until it needs to be on charge again.

Just purchased an oricom sc720 with two cameras. This doesn’t pick up any sound to alert us the baby is crying or making a noise in the room. We have an sc710 that picked up everything and vibrated through the night to let me know my little one was awake and making noise. So disappointed, how can the one function of this not work? Help please. This is the second attempt at a new oricom product we will be returning this month. Looks like the sc710 will have to do.
