I brought my fridge second hand off an older lady she seems to say she never put a pin on the fridge how do I over ride this and reset the family hub it’s very frustrating!

Top of the right door is a button under the cover plate to switch it off then on to reset.

Can I ask what the pressure is like for the on door water dispenser- does the water come out slow? I have the sparking water version and I love it - had it for 8 years or so but the water pressure is a bit low - we have had it on three houses and all the same . Ready to update. Thanks

Ours comes out quite fast. It really sounds like a water pressure issue more than the fridge water dispenser but in saying that, this is the first one we have plumbed in. It’s fantastic.

Look to make sure your hose from the main water source, probably under the sink, is not crimped and that the valve at the source under the sink is fully on. Also check the rubber hose on the back of the frig to make sure it is not jammed against a wall and that it is at least 3 ft. away from the wall. This hose can get crimped which would slow your water.

Hi My partner and i purchased the Samsung family hun fridge 2 days ago I’ve woken up this morning to my freezer looking like it had snowed in there? Everything was covered in ice to the point I’ve had to take everything out and clean it all out Can anyone tell me why this is happening? And what I can do about it? Have I not set it up properly?

Does the fridge need to be connected to plumbing for it to dispense ice or can it be manually filled with water for ice?

It needs to be plumbed.

Hi Mike, as the SRF630BFH2 has an auto ice maker, it would require to be plumbed if you wish to use it's ice maker feature.

Thanks all for the update. We didnt get a water outlet in our fridge cavity and our build is just about complete. So guess we'll need to get a plumber in afterwards

Hi! Thanks for confirming that plumbing kit is included. I need to make sure if my mini tap is compatible with plumbing kit or I need to buy additional connectors. Details about whats included in that kit will be really helpful.

I have read the pages you recommended from user manual but was unable to find any details about tap connectors/sizes or even pipe lengths. Water supply tap I have is a little high and may need some extensions.

We are looking at a new Hub but these reviews are not glowing. What concerns me most is contacting Samsung via Facebook if we experience issues. I am not a teenager, does Samsung not have a reliable customer service centre with a traditional phone number? Why is a Facebook PM the best way to make contact, sounds quite unprofessional. How deep should the kitchen cupboards be to house the 825L Family Hub Refrigerator French Door - SRF825BFH4 nicely. Most fridges work on 600mm but this fridge is deeper. What is the depth measurement without doors?

Ok... we are now booked for a service call, but at the last callout the technician couldn't fix it, but.. we'll wait and see this time... now only been about 6 weeks (I think approx) since problem surfaced..

Tech from local Lugus refrigeration company sent by Samsung to our home. He made contact with Samsung tech by phone. Same old questions, answered heaps of times before, model number etc etc. Lugus tech left, didn't know how to fix TV not mirroring on fridge, Samsung tech said he would send query to Korea. Now have been escalated (again, must be about 20xs) to Voice of Complaint. Fault now unfixed for about 6 weeks, 1 month anniversary with communicating with Mick messages. Have repeatedly asked for our $6,400 back... apparently next 24 to 48 h will be "critical"!
