Hi guys.. I have been using skin physics dragons blood for a few years now & love it.. Should i use a moisturiser over the top? Something that i not heavy or greasy.. Cheers Nikki

Skin Physics
Skin Physics   DM

Hello Nikki, Sorry for such a late reply, we recommend using the complete Dragon's blood range and for maximum lifting and firming results, apply a very generous layer to clean skin before layering your daily moisturiser, sunscreen and make-up. Massage into face, neck, hands and décolletage. At night, use over your regular night cream, or directly onto clean, dry skin. Our formula is non-greasy, super absorbent and soaks in instantly, so make sure you use liberally for best results.

Thanks

Dragon's blood will not absorb. It looks like it has, but will not allow makeup to be put over it, and then clumps up. Even when I don't apply makeup, it rolls into clumps after I have applied it and allowed it time to absorb. Does it have an expiry date or something? Perhaps it ought to be kept in the fridge? In any case, it does not work!

Lapiz
Lapiz

Whow, i have had several jars of Skin Psychics - Dragon's Blood and never have i ever had this happen. It does take about 1 min to dry (as it states on jar - fan if you want to dry quicker). The cream glides on smoothly and evenly every time. I rarely use make-up though.

I normally keep a jar in the bathroom and bedroom and live up North and this hasnt effected the cream in any way.As with any skin cream, cosmetics etc you need to keep in a cool place anyway. As for the expiry date - if you purchase and used it daily it certainly wouldnt go off in the time frame anyway. Normally if i have any creams or makeup that is over 10-12 month old i would throw out - clearly i didnt want the product anyway.

The only thought/suggestion would be is to exfoliate your face weekly. Maybe the clumps you are talking about is dead skin? The cream is smooth.

If this doesnt work contact customer service at Skin Psychic's. They will be more than happy to replace jar or return your money.

Good Luck Elle

Hi my name is Debbie , a while ago I used dragons blood which I applied in the morning under my makeup and at night the night cream .... Within a week my face started to firm and had a glow to it , it's a rarity to take my make up off but with the product I didn't care who saw me ..... I do wear Estée Lauder double wear foundation great coverage , about the same time my face started to firm/ tighten my sister made a comment on "whatever your using different than normal on your face ... Stop.... Your face has wrinkles which you never had "

So I'm guessing it's to be used in conjunction with water based foundation which doesn't give me the coverage I want .... I would love to use it again and noticed Coles have now stocked it along with snake venom and bees something or other .... Do you have any of those products that do the same but don't give me a wrinkled look while wearing my foundation ?

Skin Physics
Skin Physics   DM

Hi Debbie, Our range is not currently stocked in Coles so the products you are referring to may be from another skincare brand. If you are however finding that your makeup is not sitting well on top of the Sculpting Gel we can recommend trying the Dragon's Blood Deep Wrinkle Filler which instantly targets and plumps lines to give you a great smooth base before you apply your foundation. Alternatively you can try a different face cream, our Advance SUPERLIFT Face Lifting & Toning Cream, is designed to oxygenate, & revitalise the skin, improving hydration, firmness & skin tone. All of our products are available for purchase in Priceline Stores or online. If we can be of any more assistance to you or if you would like to discuss recommendations with one of our beauty advisors please let us know and we will be happy to give you a call to discuss further. Kind regards, Skin Physics x

I am 57 years old so do I purchase the Dragons Blood Products OR the Ultra Life products? what is the difference?

Skin Physics
Skin Physics   DM

Hi Lee, We are unfortunately unsure of the Ultra Life products you are referring to, however our Dragon's Blood or SUPERLIFT range are both a fantastic choice for maturing skin. It all depends on your skin type and lifestyle – but we would usually recommend the SUPERLIFT range for very fragile, maturing skin and crepiness. It addresses the signs of ageing, but also works especially on sagging neck skin and reducing the look of double chin fat. So if you’re worried about drooping skin on the neck or creping skin and want to see a more toned and strengthened look, SUPERLIFT could be the right fit for you. You’ll see a difference within 3 weeks.

Dragon’s Blood has the same lifting and anti-ageing benefits, but you’ll notice more of an immediate rejuvenation effect. This range definitely focuses more on wrinkle reduction and facial contouring. So if you’re worried about skin firmness but maybe not quite as worried about the skin from the chin down, or crepey looking skin, then Dragon’s Blood is probably a better choice for you.

If you would like to speak with one of our Beauty Advisors further regarding which range may be best suited to your concerns and skin type then please do let us know and we would be happy to give you a call. Kind regards, Skin Physics xx

Can you put the sculpting gel around your eyes and also do you put the gel on first or after your night cream?

at night I put the dragon's blood ultra plumping night cream only.

Skin Physics

Hi Jenny, for faster results we do recommend cleansing then layering your sculpting gel before your night cream (night time only). You may apply the product around the eye area but this is not suited to the eye lids. We do recommend our SUPERLIFT® Eye Contouring Serum if you would like to use a product closer to the eye contours. Skin Physics x

Hi, been using the full range of Dragons Blood, ie, cleanser, sculpting gel, moisturisers, day and night and eye cream for just over a month and help, my face has erupted, small blister spots have appeared on my nose and brows, my chin is covered with painful weeping sores and one cheek is red swollen and so painful and itchy. What do I do?

Michelle

Hi. Sounds like your having an allergic reaction to something. I doubt it's the skin products you've been using as you would have had a reaction straight away......not a month later. I'd go see your doctor immediately.

Hi Lee, We do recommend that you discontinue use and contact your doctor if you are still experiencing this reaction. Please also send your best contact number to info@skinphysics.com.au and a member from our team will contact you to discuss this further. Skin Physics x

i have a question. i love this product but only problem is .. after put this on my face, i can feel some peeling kind of stuffs on my face if i touch my face . is it normal?

Sadfaced Now
Sadfaced Now

It could be that you are putting on too much? Or perhaps layering it with too many other products? I found this sometimes when I used it with certain primers, or one particular oil based serum. Try tweaking your routine a little and experiment with different product combinations.

Skin Physics
Skin Physics   DM

Hi Rachel, Our sculpting gel needs to be applied to skin free of impurities such as excess oils, dead skin cells, make-up and pollution. A facial cleansing brush will give you the deepest clean for maximum results. The Scuplting Gel should have a hydrating and rejuvenating effect of the skin. If you are still experiencing a peeling effect please email us your contact number to info@skinphysics.com.au and a member of our team will be in touch with you to discuss further. Skin Physics x

Hi,

i use your product day and night, and everytime I use it I feel as if it's burning my skin then the burning eventually calms down. I have just noticed that my face has become blotchy and very dry. It looks like it's been burnt.

Ps I'm up to my second jar of the sculpting gel and I only feel the product burning my skin when I apply it and also when I apply the night cream. Is this a normal reaction?

Annie
Annie

I also experienced a burning sensation on my skin when I first used the product and found it was better when I applied my own moisturizer straight after. I am a firm believer in Vaseline and this is what I use but any good moisturizer should alleviate the burning sensation.

Sadfaced Now
Sadfaced Now

This sounds like an allergic reaction....I would contact them, or if you have your receipt take it back to where you got it. I'm not part of their company, just a fellow user. A tingle is common when you first start using something new, but definitely not to the extent of burning as you have described.

I would not use Vaseline on my face, too greasy and basically a petrochemical product....(Dragon's Blood is oil free) This can enlarge pores and also sit on the surface not absorbing properly. It would prevent any other moisturiser from absorbing, hence wasting any good ingredients in them.
