VerifiedMPNs: KLF01PBAU and KLF03PBAUTSF01PBAUHi , i have had my smeg kettle and toaster for 6 months and have had no problems except my son dropped kettle in the sink, luckily the kettle had cold water in it, however the lid cracked and the handle and surrounding plastic snapped completely off. It was a great kettle but it snapped easily.
I have had my kettle for 15 months. I noticed a while back that the paint has bubbled in two places near the lid. Unfortunately my insurance doesn't cover cosmetics. What can I do as k do not have a receipt as it was a gift?
I have a SMEG Kettle and have only been using it for two months. Really like the Kettle and have the matching toaster. Today the button to turn on the kettle womt lock in place. In order to boil the kettle I now need to hold the button. Not the quality I expected for the price. Anyone else have this problem and find a fix?
I have the same problem. I think it developed from the pin in the base of the kettle bending - poor design

My new kettle has stop playing music when I turn it on and when it is boiled. Is there a way to fix this or Is it a warranty matter? Jo
Hi there and thanks for your enquiry- there is a mute function that you might have accidentally activated- This function allows you to deactivate the kettle ON/OFF, START/STOP, and end of cycle sounds
The function can be activated by pressing the Keep Warm key for 5 seconds (the corresponding LED lights up and flashes while the operation is stored)
Pressing the Keep Warm key again for 5 seconds (the corresponding LED will light up and flash) exits the Mute function, reactivating sounds.
Hope this helps. If not, please email us direct with your full name address and contact telephone number- our email address is Service@smeg.com.au kind regards Smeg Australia
Thanks - it did not work. I have sent an email.
