The product is superseded now . I have had rhe NX 2 for 6 years. Worked fully for 4 then one of 2 paddle wheels stopped working though it still did a decent job. Battery died fully at 5 years but it still works directly when sun is on it . It’s good for keep the surface clear particularly when there are a lot of things in the air ( eg spring) but it won’t replace the need for a bottom vacuum . On balance I would buy again.

I also had a front motor failure after only a couple of weeks. The distributor replaced the entire unit as soon as new stock was available. Since then it’s done an excellent job. I’ve know idea how long it will last, but for my pool, it’s a lifesaver, as the pool is L shaped and so the skimmer box isn’t very effective. I’d definitely buy again. Incidentally, I tried to buy one of these units through a friend in the U.S, and found that it wasn't appreciably cheaper. Then I had to get it here. Buy from the local distributor.
