Tefal Express Compact Easy GV7630 Questions

I have a TEFAL express Compact "easy control" Has been a good iron but now I have three lights flashing. NO answers online NO answers in a instruction booklet (which is crazy) and a horrible burning smell. Full of water and yet no joy. Calc filter cleaned. So please let me know what to do. I don't feel like its last me long enough for the amount I paid for it.. OVER 450 bucks from Myer in Australia.

Why do all the lights start to flash on my Tefal Express gv7630 - doesn’t let me do anything, I can’t switch on, off or doesn’t change if I hold down the steam or ok buttons; I have to switch off at the power point, wait then restart - my iron is just 12 months old and thus has started to happen

I also have the same issue and a horrible burning smell coming out of it as the 3 lights flash - silly instruction manual that it comes with says nothing about this issue. Not exactly a helpful booklet.

Water leaking from the base looks to be coming from around the tank as if it needs a gasket

We had the same problem. They repairers replaced a couple of parts only to find that the water container had a hairline crack. This, of course, was detected after they replaced the other parts, at our expense. The iron was slightly out of warranty and Tefal did not want to know about it. It took about three months to fix because the parts had to come from overseas. This is even though you can buy something on eBay from UK or China and receive it in a week. From memory, the repair cost about $180. The whole process put us off Tefal products. The superglue suggestion seems to be on the money.

My tefal gv7630 also leaks water from the bottom after 2 years. What can I do to fix it or can tefal help? Very hesitant to buy your brand again to replace.

You can try fix it your as same as I did at home. I just use superglue, silicone 2 months ago stil ok no more leaking. It was a bit complicated to explain here. If you want find some way to voice chat, I will tell u more details.
