So i have a flat battery but i cannot jump start it as the stupid car wont start with the bonnet open, anyone have any idea how to solve this? Thank you in advance.

Sounds like the battery. Otherwise check the alternator.and starter motor.
Hi I'm thinking about getting a 2002 toyota aurion who else has one and is it worth buying one thanks.
It is more than two decades old Lucas. Regular required servicing throughout its life may be reassuring. The motor is renowned for longevity when properly serviced. Suspension is strong and exhaust system is stainless steel. There is a lot to be said for these. It has a good boot, is comfortable and powerful and unlikely to have too many rattles. I do not know if the early ones came in both 4 and 6 cylinder varieties. In fact, I didn't think they produced Aurions before 2006. Assuming you know though, both motors, the 4 and V6 were good, the smaller gives a bit better fuel consumption. The 6 will manage most situations you are likely to get into anywhere.
Check for no blueish smoke. Smoke would be a sign of inefficient rings or worse. Oil leaking in with the fuel.
With the age it will be hard to assure yourself that the one you are looking at will continue to give good service if it presently does. In that situation, setting a sensible upper limit price makes sense. Likely a 2002 model will cost you at most equal, usually somewhat less than installing a replacement motor if you can find one. So, you do not want to have to do that since there will be no return. It also defines the maximum you can lose.

Just bought a aurion prodigy i have found both remotes won't unlock or lock doors boot won't open either replaced the batteries in each still nothing
You need to reconfigure the remotes. Use YouTube for instructions

My 2013 aurion presara's sunroof keeps rattling. When I took it to a dealer who said there Were no recalls of this defect.But an aftermarket sunroof installer advised me that it has To be stripped & refitted with new sunroof as this was a factory defect. On my 2007 aurion presara I never had issues with sunroof except for dash board shines like cricket ball in summer only. Any ideas?
You don't need a new sunroof. Just pull it apart and fit plastic shims between the runners. YouTube Car care nut
I have a 2008atx aurion and the vsc, traction control light and engine light come on and when I drive it it feels like not enough fuel getting to it to power . A sort of shuttering . Or wanting to go but wanting to shut down . It showing error codes po 102 mass or volume air flow , Po113 air intake temperature sensor Po354 ignition coil "D" primary/secondary. Can you please help .....
Check your MAF sensor, it may be dirty. If that fails, check your fuel cap for hairline cracks.
Both issues are easily and cheaply rectified at home, no need for professional help or expense.
I have a 2011 Aurion. Recently it's developed intermittent alarms which is truly annoying. I also notice randomly it will tell me the hood is open (it's not) Anyone have some experience with this same problem?

My ATX 2008 Aurion interior light as stopped coming on when the doors open. The other 2 lights either side are working when you press them on/off. Could it be the fuses?

They're all the same transmission. I've had my car for 2 years, and haven't had a problem. Transmission service cost me about $250

Hi there I own a 2017 Aurion ATX the best car I have ever owned and because I love this car I'd like to if possible and I'm sure somebody must of asked the question I'd love to add power folding mirrors. Would this be to hard to do or would power folding mirrors off a Corolla fit as I've seen my mates car and they look identical. Hope somebody can give me some good news as I've been thinking about this for a long time now. Thanks Steve.
Steve - that doesn't sound cheap....best ask your Toyota dealer or local Auto electrician for some advice / insights

It has a timing chain - not a belt. So replacement is unnecessary

I have Aurian Prodigy 2009 model It has developed a tapping noise which starts after the motor has been turned off. It sounds similar tp tappet noise -metal on metal. It runs for about 2-3 minutes on average before stopping. Other than that it is great car. TLB
