Uniden BW 3000 Series Questions & Answers
VerifiedJust purchased the Uniden 3001. When in battery save mode and the screen is off, I can still hear the white noise in my child’s room, so essentially the volume is still continuous. Anyone else have this issue?

We have recently bought a BW6000 monitor and camera because our BW3451R monitor Broke and would loose all charge and die within 10 minutes of being off charge. And we missed out warranty period by 1 month!!! >_< I am now wanting to connect our old camera (BW3000) that we have been using and use that as a second camera on the BW6000 monitor because we have baby number 2 due in 4 weeks so will need a camera for both baby’s but we can’t figure out how to pair them. Please help!
My monitor goes out of range as soon as we step outside the baby room and close the door. Doesn’t work if not in same room. The reception indication on the monitor loses all bars and the camera goes out of range. How can we resolve?

The thermostat is showing to be off by up to 5 degrees. Is there a way to fix/recalibrate it? Not quite 2 years old and has been off for over 6 months and have finally had enough of having to keep going in to baby's room to check the temp.

We just purchased the uniden 3001 and the camera keeps turning off causing the ‘out of range message’ on the parent unit. Does anyone know what is going on? We bought a second camera and they both do it - so it must be a setting?

I just bought the BW31xx series how long do the batteries on the cameras last before you need to recharge them?

My camera will not turn on, power is getting though as the red light for charging is on. However I cannot turn it on. So gutted as we are just 2 months out of warranty, and now it’s completely useless. Any ideas why this is happening? Or how it can by fixed?

Yes I did. I went to Harvey Norman where I bought it from and they weren’t very helpful so I contacted Uniden directly and they sent me a replacement

Hi, We have BW 3000 series baby camera. Out of the blue its reporting out of range on monitor. It doesn't work even when camera and monitor is in same room. It only works when they are within 20-30 cms apart. Definately got issues with Antennas. Purchased Jan 2020 from JB HiFi.

Mine is doing it too... again. It's done it so many times now in the middle of the night for no reason at all.
Hi, i have the BW3451R camera, and the battery life is horrible. as soon as i take it off the charger one battery bar would drop. i was told to reset it, which i did. but nothing has changed in terms of battery the only thing that has changed is now when its on the dock, the monitor wont turn on. I'm about to throw this thing in the bin! is there a way to fix this?!

Hello, I have just recently brought the BW3102 and have 2 cameras attached to it. Is there a way to stop them flicking between the two cameras? The constant flashing is very distracting and quite annoying if I’m honest. I know I can put it on the multi screen but would prefer to have just one large view and swap cameras if required. If it is on the multi screen does it detect and play sound when the baby cries? Thank you!

If you press the right side arrow 3 times (i think it should stick to one screen. It does that because it's showing 2 cameras and you can stop it by pressing the side arrow

I can’t hear baby monitor on my iPhone using the baby watch app, I can only see image. How do I get sound. Yes I have deleted app and downloaded a few times and my volume on my phone is turned up. Please help! Thank you

Can I leave the camera Plugged in 24/7 and operating? Or will it break? By the way the app doesn’t work. Have restarted it and downloaded it again, we have a new router now, but this whole, “watch your baby away from home” is a load of crap and doesn’t work.

My power saving mode doesnt work. I have tried everything. I have reset and repaired the camera to monitor. I have turned off the power saving and back on again. The green sounds lights on the side are always flashing up and down as well even with no sound in the room. Could this be the issue? Maybe the monitor thinks theres sound so it isnt turning on power saving mode. I have model BW3102 4.3" monitor
Hi Ashleigh, Can you please try the following steps to see if it will rectify the issue? Reset the camera Reset the monitor (Behind the monitor is a hole you can push a pin through) Pair the camera back to the monitor If still not working, please reset through Factory Reset settings.
I have just tried resetting both, paired again. It still flashes up and down on the side lights without anything in the room. I reset to factory settings. Did not work either. Still lights flickering like theres noise being heard and isnt going into power saving mode.

Hi I have the 3451R+1 model and on day1 of using the camera and monitor it would perfectly. On day 2 I realized I could hear the baby making noises but my camera on the clamp did not pick up any motion. It works when I turn it on from the monitor but it is no longer detecting baby moving or making noises. I have a double story home is this is terrible its already happened on day 2
I have an old uniden model bw31xx but my Monitor has died can I buy a new one and still use my cameras?

Yes, if you purchase a new BW31XX unit, you can pair your current cameras.
One monitor can pair up to a maximum of 4 cameras at one time.
