The buttons on my Uniden monitor randomly stops working. Working one minute and not the next. The only buttons that work are the power button and the talk feature button. The screen is stuck on channel 1 and I cannot view the 2nd camera. Can this be fixed?

We have this monitor and our monitor now has stopped charging, if I buy another Uniden product will the cameras work with the new monitor? I am looking at the Uniden BW4151 4.3in Digi Wireless Baby Monitor??

The sensitivity of the monitor is crap! Since using it for several months the sensitivity has gone downhill my baby ends up crying for a minute because we can't hear him from the loungeroom and the monitor doesn't go off

Yep the same thing happened to ours. They provided a replacement too and it stopped working. And now we’re on the 2nd replacement it’s still working thus far.

hi I've connected the uniden monitor via ethernet to router. the router is connected to the internet. I've installed the Baywatch app on my phone and had it set up. while my phone is connected to the same wifi router i can v view the cameras, however if i disconnect my phone from the router it would not connect. Q. how can i then view the camera ice I'm away from the wifi router, ie when I'm away from home?

Hi - does the devices need to be hooked into the Ethernet cable to use the smartphone app or can it be done via wifi? Keeps saying connection failed in app?

My monitor is saying out if range when the camera is only a few metres away. It has only just started doing this (6months old). We have tried to re-pair the camera, reset the monitor and factory reset the monitor but nothing has worked???

Having the same issue.. range drops and monitor is only a few metres away.. losing picture and signal easily and barely connects for long at all. Is only 2 months old

It’s because you are in the zoom mode. Zoom out and the volume buttons adjust the volume.

why does the monitor always stay on when in the dock or on charge via the charging cable, even when i turn the monitor and camera off the monitor automatically comes back on. seems like a waste of power as it will always be charging as it is always using power.

I just bought the Uniden BW3451R and got it home to set up. The sound indicator on the side of the monitor is not changing even when I cream into the microphone part it doesn’t go up or down I have even tried resetting the monitor. I also have the volume up as loud as it can go and when I scream into the microphone I can only just hear it come out of the monitor if I hold it up to my ear. How do I fix all of this?

Hi Mel,

No it does not.

Only if you want to use remote viewing through the Baby Watch App on your mobile phone, then you can connect it to your home router.

I can't hear anything through my monitor so can't hear if my baby cries. The volume looks like it's adjusting when I turn it up but can't hear any sound. Also it looks like the device is stuck on lullaby mode. When I press the stop lullaby button on the monitor nothing happens and the symbol doesn't disappear. I've tried to reset and still an issue. Please help. Thanks

No unfortunately not. Even when I called customer service they couldn't help me and I would need to send it in and pay for it to be fixed. It ended up dying on its own.

Reset the camera(If Pan and Tilt camera, you can switch it off then back on) Reset the monitor (Behind the monitor is a hole you can push a pin through) Pair the camera back to the monitor If still not working, please reset through Factory Reset settings.

My unit sucks I ended up pitching it over the neighbors fence. The next day I heard WTH is a camera smashed against my wall. Screw uniden they are a nightmare

We have set up our camera and monitor, but the monitor does not automatically turn off even when there is no sound or motion in the baby room. We have adjusted the sensitivity level to the lowest possible but the monitor remains on and making noise.Any ideas?

Ive had my monitor for 2 years now but just tonight, the screen wont turn on at all. The dock and the display monitor are charging but the display monitor has no lights on it and it wont turn on.

Ive done the reset on the back on the dock but its made no difference. Ive changed electrical outlets, tried charging the monitor on its own but still a black screen.

Ive also never been able to get the baby app connected on my phone. I have an iPhone XR with latest software, Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the app, reset the device (when it was working) but its still having issues.

Is there somewhere they can be repaired?
