My viomi v3 doesn’t mop when I’m in vacuum and mop mode. Does anyone know what’s going on?

Hi my vacuum has started leaving black”tyre” marks.. I have cleaned them etc but as it spins leaves the marks.. any ideas??

Not sure it has not happened to me yet have you tried to clean the tyres with wet cloth or wipes. may be its just some kind of residue otherwise i would suggest getting a replacement, as it might be a manufacturer's fault.

While mopping, if Viomi V3 finds that now it's on carpet, does it still keep mopping and wet the carpet? I know Deebot doesn't climb the carpet if in mopping mode and S5 max will climb and stop mopping. Not sure for Viomi V3.

It doesn't stop mopping if you go for the whole house mopping function. when i set it up for mop with water tank. i ususally specify in the app which areas to mop.i.e. hardwood floor areas. so it will only go to those areas then return to the dock. hope this answers.

Thanks Rohit, so I take it as we have to specify no mop areas. And so while mopping, it won't go der. And also, will have to clean tht carpet / rug area separately.

Which one do you recommend the mi 1c or the v3?

If u want better vacuum then 1c better mop then v3

Hi sarah, no i don't think. This one is just called xiaomi v3 its an update from v2 robot. this one has 2600pa suction i think. but its pretty great in mopping though.
