Vitel Water Set Questions & Answers
VerifiedLooking at the test results on the site, it appears that the beads remove just over a third of the fluoride. I would have liked to have seen it significantly reduced given the recent data on the harms of fluoride. Nevertheless, chlorine levels are way down and pH is great. I'd like to know as others have asked, where do the chemicals go when the water is purified?
Are the water beads affected if they are left to dry out. Our water has a strange taste now and this seems to be from when we were away over summer and had cleaned and emptied our water purifier etc
Hi where can buy the bags for beads mine have broken Cheers
Hi Ian, Greg advised me that you can just buy the little bags and put your beads in them. However, if you are definitely wanting to buy another bag or two, then I bought mine from Vitel Water external link Greg is very helpful, and his number is 0421 704 861. Good luck. I love my water system, never realised how good water could taste.
Hello, I'm a bit confused about the wording of one of the Features of Vitel Water Set. You have written "Fluoride-free: Vitel water beads remove sodium fluoride and reduce the fluoride content in water". Does this mean that the fluoride content is fully removed or simply reduced, as indicated in the last part of the sentence? Thanking you, Shawn.
The longer you leave the water to be treated the more you fluride will be removed. The instruction sheet will explain the timings better.
Thanks for that.
What happens if you leave it too long to clean your vittel beads
Water starts to taste like tap water and it reminds one to clean the beads
I never find any issue with the beads, when you clean the pot you also rinse the beads, simple as that. The beads contain the active ingredient to cleanse the water. When you follow the instructions you won't go wrong. I can't imagine why you would wish to neglect rinsing any of the items, they are so easy to clean! Twice a year, how difficult is that?
Can I use the beads in a different ceramic water dispenser?
As I am not the seller of the product I can't definitively say that you can use the beads in a different ceramic dispenser but I couldn't imagine why not because as long as it's glazed inside it should not be an issue. I would imagine any glazed pottery would work just as well.

I would like to know what happens to the impurities that your filter filtrates, where do the impurities go? Beads swollow them and them what the beads do with impurities. Does it spit it out somewhere? Where? I am just puzzeled. Your answer would be grately appreciated. Thank you
Just wanted to know how clean is your water after this filtration? If you use TDS water checker before filtration and after filtration with your filter - what reading does TDS show? Can your filter purify to a Zero impurity or just almost there? I need to know this in order to determine should i buy it or not. Thank you for your answere. Leah.
please tell me where Vitel water set ,filters etc. are made. thanking you
What happens to the contaminates that the beads pull from the water?
Thats a good question.
Hi, can I use white vinegar to clean the vitel beads?
how long do the beads last an where do i buy this and the price please
Hi Thelma they are meant to last a lifetime. I have had mine for 10 months and they are still going strong. I've spent ridiculous amounts of money on water filters and this has been the best. This is their website you can find all of the info on there external link
Hi Thelma I have had my vitelwater for nearly two years now,you don't have to replace the beads unless you let them dry out,I top mine up every second day usually about 3 litres that I've used the day before, just remember the water urn holds roughly about 9litres you won't be disappointed after you taste the water, our Adelaide water taste terrible, but this was well worth the money for roughly under $200you never have to buy water in bottles anymore best investment I ever made
We have a 64K litre pool that I'm looking to get some beads for. The water is currently green as it has been left for the last year without any treatment. Has anyone got experience using the beads for pools? I would love to hear from anyone before I go ahead and purchase the beads as it is not a small investment. Thank you :)
Yes I am interested in that also

Can you clean the magnesium ball bags with bi-carbonate soda
Hi Margot, contact Greg from Vitel water, he'll be able to answer your question.
Can I use the vitel beads in glass water dispenser?
Hi Li
You would be best speaking to Greg from Vitel Water about this.
I've had my Vitel Water System for over a year and intended to take beads out and put in sun to dry etc but we've had a really wet unsunny summer here up in the Mountains. I'd appreciate any information as to whether other happy vitel water people replace with new beads each year or have any other system if living with not much sun. Cheers K
I have only had my system since Sept 2020. Contact Greg and he'll be able to advise.
Thanks Emma.
