Weber Kettle Series Questions & Answers
VerifiedHas anyone tried to cart the bbq in a sedan and home after using it? I am not sure if it will be too hot for too long after use and if it will even fit in my boot as its all screwed together.. mmm thinking?
Hi Karen, we can see how we can best help here to answer your questions. The original kettle dimensions are as follows: 100.3CM H X 57.2CM W X 63.5CM D, you may be able to use the measurements to compare to your boot size and if the barbecue will fit.
Regarding the transport of the barbecue and the length to cool down will depend on a few things such as how much fuel has been used and how long you were cooking on the barbecue. As depending on how long the charcoal takes to be put out and for the grill to cool it can often be multiple hours for the barbecue to completely cool.
Thanks Weber team, I chose the CUBE by Heston Blumenthall and it was perfect for a compact beach bbq.
How many people is this 47cm suitable for
Hi Jack, mine one is 67cm, and feeds 10 person (this depend how big eater they are). My friend had the one 47cm and feeds 5 to 7 people. Hope this help.
Haven't had a Weber Compact Kettle for a number of years,(Not sure if they still make them) and have missed it, as it was a brilliant performer.
Last one we had was RED, and was given away when we last moved house, and therein lies the problem, the Mrs wants another RED one. Any Ideas, ??
The only way to get one would be second hand, gumtree or eBay but would be very rare to find a red compact that said I've got a brand new one never used (black) for sale
Thank you for your reply. Rare indeed in red. Unfortunately Black does not cut it with the Mrs, but thanks for the offer,
Cheers

Mate never come across any colour but black suggest contact webber
Thanks for the reply. Going back a long, long, way, into mid 1980's in fact, Red & Black Compact Kettles were available. There has been a rare red one on Gumtree or E Bay come up on occasions, but not in very good condition. (Understandable given their age)
Contacting Weber is an option I'll look into,
Cheers & Thanks

Hi, thanks for your question.
At this stage, the second-hand market would be your best bet, as they are no longer sold through us. Thanks again.
