I own a weber Q 2000 coating flaking off lid and bowl what can do. Regards Colin Matthews
I have a weber 2200Q can I use the trivet on the half hot plate and half grill or should I put the other grill back when roasting on the trivett?
Wendy I always put the other grill back in to ensure even heat around your roast. Make sure you preheat Weber and put the roast in and try not to keep opening hood to check on roast. I use a meat thermometer via wifi app on my phone. Happy cooking
Hi Wendy, as Paul mentioned when cooking indirect with the convection tray and trivet the two grills are required to ensure that the temperature and heat dispersion in the barbecue is adequate to cook a roast. If you have any other questions please let us know!
I have an older Q220 stand, will the newer Q2200 fit on this stand? thanks
Hi Gordon, the latest Weber Q barbecue will not fit onto previous model stands due to the size and frame difference. We hope this helps!
I have an older Q200 Front leg frame broke off. Will Q2000 frame work?
Hi Brian, you can use the Q2000 frame on your barbecue, however you would need to replace the whole frame from the Q200 model to the Q2000. If you are after pricing on the frames our customer service team can help with this, you can reach the team on 1300 301 290 or reach out on any of our social channels. Thanks!

Will a Weber fit an everdure e2go stand?
Hi Bobbie, we can't comment on other brands products and their suitability to ours. We would recommend a Weber stand to go with your Weber Q.

What is the difference between a Q2000 and a Q2000N
I don't believe there is any but there are 2 versions of the Q2000N: one for Natural Gas and one for LPG. I suspect some retailers may use the 'N' suffix to identify the Natural Gas (plumbed not bottled) option.
Hi Barb1e, the N is representative of the model of barbecue. The Weber Q2000N is the latest, 3rd generation model of the Weber Q range, whereas the Weber Q2000 is the classic 2nd generation model. We hope this helps!
I have a Q200 and need replacement side tables and one side handle. Does the 2000 series side tables fit the earlier 200 model? Thanks
Hi Martin, best to get in touch with our customer service team for spare part items relating to your Weber Q200. You can get in touch with the Customer Service team on any of our social channels or you can call them on 1300 301 290. Thanks!
i have a older q220 and looking to get a portable trolley for it, will the trolley for the q2200's fit my older q220?
Hi Jack I don't think so as it seems to be designed for the 2nd Generation 'Classic' Q series models 1000/1200/2000/2200 but perhaps check with Weber CS as they are more than helpful. The 1st gen models Q100/Q120/Q200/Q220/Q310/Q320 might be compatible with this trolley:

Hi Jack, unfortunately due to the design change with the barbecue legs the Weber Q Classic carts are not suitable for the Weber Q200 range. The cart for your barbecue have been discontinued but you can reach out to our customer service team on 1300 301 290 to see if there is an older cart available as a spare part item in your location.
Hello, I have a weber q2000 natural gas and would like to convert it to LPG gas. Are there kits or parts I need to buy? Thanks

What's the difference between Weber Q2000 and Weber Q2000 classic 2nd generation? I have just purchased the classic 2nd gen. I have seen a few queries regarding the hose supplied not fitting a standard LPG 9kg gas bottle. Why would that be?
Sorry not sure, when I purchased my weber Q the only other model that I'm aware of had a higher lid and a temperature gauge in the lid which would be handy at times.Maybe that's the difference between the models your interested in?.
Hi Donna, both those models are the same and is the second generation of Weber Q. The latest 3rd Generation model is named the Q2000N. From April 1st, 2022, the Australian Gas Standard adjusted the regulations to adopt a newer and safer hose connection for LPG barbecues and gas appliances. Therefore all barbecues manufactured after this date now come with a Type 27 hose fitting, and these hoses do not fit to gas bottles that have the previous Type 21 or POL fitting. New gas bottles are available for the Type 27 hose. You can find out more information about the gas hose regulations and changes here: external link
Hi, is it common for the hotbox to melt the cradle?
Hey Jenni, it's not common, but we have seen it happen and it's usually due to one of two things; a flare up that's turned into a fire inside your barbecue, or there was a build up of debris inside the cookbox that has gotten too hot.
We'd love to help you get your barbecue back into top shape, so do you mind sending us some more detail to social@weberbbq.com.au with some pictures of the damage, and any info on what/how you were cooking (type of meat, setting, times, etc).
I don't believe it is common but it does happen, wife melted our first weber q cradle due to fat tray under bbq not being replaced before cooking so be aware of this.only bonus we have some spare parts now.

Hi Cherie
Thank you for getting in touch. What size casserole dish do you have?
I would like to extend my 0.9 hose to a bit longer so it reached the bayonet on my balcony, I have a weber Q2200 using natural gas - can I buy a longer hose?
Hi there Thank you for reaching out. A Natural Gas Q2200 comes with a 2 meter hose, do you have a LPG barbecue and needing to convert it to you Natural Gas? Or have you had your barbecue converted? Please send us a DM on Facebook or give us a call on 1300 301 290 and we can assist you further
It’s natural gas, not LPG. In my new place, where I want to place my BBQ is further from the wall than my previous place, there is an A/c unit between the gas outlet and my BBQ so need longer hose.
Hi
No worries at all, if you would like contact our amazing customer service team they will be able to help you out here 1300 301 290
Thank you.
Just bought a weber Q2000 can I get small gas canisters or do I need a big blt gas Also can you recommend the right gas for it please. Patrick
Hi Patrick Thank you for your question. A Weber Q 2000 is either compatible with Natural Gas from your home or an LPG bottle. The LPG bottle can be anywhere between 4KG to 9KG, but for optimum use we would recommend a 9KG gas bottle for your barbecue. If you have any other questions please let us know
HI. Will a q2200 fit on the rolling cart for the older q220?
Hi Tom Thank you for reaching out. After some testing we found the Q2200 will fit on the old portable cart but just keep in mind that the cart was not designed for the new barbecue as it didn't exists at the time. If you would like to see how it fits in person you are always welcome to take the cart into your closest Weber Store and check it out. Please let us know if you have any other questions
Hi there I have a Webber q 200 can I still cook a small roast in there without the thermometer in the lid?
See
yes you can, however you can purchase a meat thermometer with the probe into the meat and WI-FI or B.T. it to your phone. This is far more accurate than a lid thermometer which is a guide only. Cook the Roast on LOW until the desired temp is reached (about 77 degrees C) then remove and stand (covered to keep in the heat) for 20 mins before caving. Should be really nice!
Hi Julie Thank you for reaching out. Yes you are still able to cook a roast without a thermometer lid. In your owners manual there will be instructions on how to correctly cook a roast. Alternatively you can purchase a meat thermometer which will be able to accurately tell you the temperature of your meat, you can browse our products here: external link .
