I have a Westinghouse Side by side (WSE6970SA*2) - had it for 10 years or so without issue. It has just now started to blank the screen of and on again whilst opening or closing the fridge door. This obviously resets the time and is annoying. Is this an easy fix?
you have a loose connection or a cable that is breaking down You will have to take the covers off to investigate.

My freezer part won’t stay frozen if I grab something out and then close it again. Just automatically starts defrosting and beeping. Then I have to press the + or - symbols for it to go back to freezer temp. Is this something I can fix?

My Westinghouse WHE6874 model fridge freezer was working perfectly fine until the ice maker decided to stop working. I’ve done all the trouble shooting and yes I can still get water from the compartment but no ice. I have noticed I have water behind in a tray underneath the fridge which was accumulating in a drip tray and my floor was wet. There are no holes in the pipes/tubes for any leak. What is wrong with it!!!
the fan that sends cold air to the ice maker may not be working. The ice flap that shuts off when you dispense ice may not be sealing correctly. Is it displaying a fault code on the display?

Hi we are starting to get really bad condensation on the fridge doors to the point it is dripping massive amounts of water on to middle draw compartment and control panel. This has happened from new but no where near the amount it is at the moment. Fridge is nearly 3 years old. Condensation is on both doors or the shorter section of doors vertical surface.
the humidity sensor may be faulty or the heater may be burnt out. The heater board that flips back and forth may be open circuited.
We had a power cut due to floods and after 48 hours the fridge is back on and seemed fine but it keeps beeping like a door is open (all are closed) nothing is blocking doors etc so what could it be?
could be a broken wire, possibly the one going to the door sensor for the freezer draw, or middle draw if it has one
We purchased our fridge in Feb 2021. It has been going fine until a few days ago when it started beeping every so often.. our fridge is not full, we’ve ensured ventilation is good and the seals are in tact. How can we stop this beep?
Hi there, Our Fridge (approx18 months old) makes a sounds as if we have push a button every minute or so. It is not the sound beeping of the doors open. Our freezer isn't full or full ice.

Fridge keeps beeping as if doors are open - checked everything and nothing is impeding full close of doors or drawers.
Hi Im having the same problem, the fridge beeps whenever I open the door and close the door then just randomly also when no one is near it - its only 6 months old and Ive checked everything I can and yes doors are closed properly so I dont know what to do and its driving me nuts.
I had a technician come out yesterday - he replaced a part in the door (the white strip in the middle that seals between the two doors). Seems to have resolved it.

Freezer! It’s the plastic drawer and the ice is on the front of the drawer

We were just delivered a replacement fridge. Very disappointed that we lost so much food. Apparently we needed receipts to make a claim with Electrolux. Who keeps receipts for food?? Really disappointed
Ice-maker has quit just 2 months out of warranty! Over the last couple of weeks it was making less and less until zip, zero. I've read and tried all the buttons, troubleshooting, filter etc, and the water supply is good. There is ice in the one tray I can reach a finger to...It just doesn't seem to want to tip them out and go on it's merry way. Is there a quick fix or is this going to cost me a bomb? My fridge is 3mths old and the water dispenser is now running so slow it takes almost an entire minute to fill a normal drinking glass. The plumbing connection is perfectly fine and worked well up until 3 weeks ago.
Our fridge surround has some edge molding over our laminate floor boards which makes the surround measure 890mm across just at the very bottom 2cm of the surround. The rest of the space is 930mm which will accommodate the fridge but won’t fit if I can’t actually slide it in. Will this fridge fit my space?
It is best to talk to the sellers before buying the fridge as they will be able to do the exact measurements and will give a definitive answer

Please check the doors, inside them there is white slide that when open blocks the doors to be closed and the then the fridge beeps.

I am having problems with frost, ice and water build up around the inner wall of the ice dispenser inside fridge area. I had the techs out yesterday and they replaced the ice dispenser. I am noticing it starting to start to frost over again. This issue has been since I bought it new from store. Do I wait and keep check on it or what. Has anyone else had this issue and can advise me. It might be another faulty ice dispenser best to get the tech again and check it or replace it altogether.
When using water dispenser, controll panell jumps to ice/ or crushed ice and. Also it adjusts temperature by itself. Then the controll panell becomes unresponsive.
The ice maker is not working, how do I get it to work again or at least access it to have a look at it?
you can open the ice maker, remove it and put it back in and see if it works.If you have recently purchased this fridge then the ice maker will take a bit time to work.
