Is everyone aware of the facial cameras Woollies have on their self-service checkouts? So easy for them to match your face with credit card/rewards card, so much for privicy

Why can't I purchase Woolworths puff pastry.

My husband loves sausages- I don't like them much - but Woolies beef sausages were ok. Now they are pastey, flavourless and skinless and revolting. What have you done? Even my husband doesn't want me to get Wollies sausages anymore.

Moose M.
Moose M.

I have also noticed this. I can find no information about the change. I used to like Woolies standard pork sausages, they are very different now, much worse. The Woolies standard chicken sausage still has the correct/better skins, but I suspect the filling is of a slightly lower grade.

I joke/suspect it's the new world order agenda, "you will own nothing, eat the bugs and low grade sausages and be happy".

Try casseroling these snags - absolutely disgusting - wouldnt feed it to my dogs.

Have found the same when cooking either the pork or beef chipolatas. They used to be quite tasty, now they are inedible. The last purchase ended up in the bin and will not be purchased again. Even our dog smelt one and wouldn't eat it.

Why is there no glass containers in stores to be collected want to claim my large container

David
David

Woolworths won’t answer you they just take our money and issue container credits that can’t be used as there are no containers in there big container scam

jsljustin
jsljustin

I agree with David, it is basically a scam by Woolworths. They may have had a little stock of the glass containers last year, but by now there appears to be no stock anywhere in Australia. I contacted the ACCC about this, listing it as "Other Scams". Although it may seem trivial, I encourage others to contact the ACCC. You can do so anonymously if you wish.

David
David

Agree 100% jsljustin, Woolworths the great Australian company scamming there customers, can’t wait as it is only a matter of time before a flood of overseas supermarket chains grace our shores see how they go then , Have a look at what Woolworths and Coles have done to our dairy industry let alone all there other suppliers

boblldo

Hi David been trying to collect my container for at least a week and n stock but to-day still no stock but the store is covered with posters telling everyone to collect their containers while stocks last! Talk about rubbing it in. Is their some twisted soul in their marketing department that gets their jollies sticking it to their long suffering customers.

I shop at Deception Bay store and could not buy 3 basic items. 1. Mud Cake in fact any fresh cakes. 2.Hungarian Salami mild or hot. 3. Devon from the deli This was on Monday afternoon. I was informed by staff that they had none in stock My question is how could you run out of three basic items like these ?

dave
dave

Yes and the QUESTION WAS why were they totally out of 3 basic products ???? on a Monday afternoon Possibly because it is in a lower socioeconomic area and they dont give a rats arse about customers in Dbay Or is it because they got caught ripping off their employees and have to cut back on stock orders topay them back. Go to woolies at Kenmore and its a different story And by the way the site said ask a question which i did

Fired Up

I would never classify cake, salami and devon as BASIC items. As you know they don’t answer in this review site. Easy solution-shop at Kenmore

because they want to sell less sausages in a small tray for the same price of a large tray its happening everwhere

Supermarket sausage ingredients read more like a chemistry test and its the chemicals they don't have to list on the labels you need to worry about. Forget convenience and don't fool yourself you don't have time ---go to your local butcher and enjoy real meat again, it will surprise you.

Why do you have mutton marked as lamb in your Gladstone Kin Kora shop

Brian
Brian

I thought Woolworths might respond on this site

Fair Go

Mutton tastes much better than lamb, its always less expensive and should be cooked slower, ie; 170c unlike lamb 200c+. bye

Brian
Brian

What in gods name has that got to do with Woolworths having Mutton Legs labelled as Lamb Legs.

Fair Go
Fair Go

Did you have the lamb leg (mutton) analysed by a certifier to confirm it was mutton, or are you just engaging your mouth before your brain ?.

Brian
Brian

After having worked on a sheep and cattle farm for 20 years I do know the difference in size alone of lamb and mutton and lambs just do not get that big, lamb 0-9mths, hogget 9mths-18mths, 2 tooth 18mths-36mths, 4 tooth and sheep the rest and if they labelled it as mutton people would not buy it, have you ever seen any of the cuts of meat in Woolworths labelled Mutton Mr mouth before brain, I think you are a city slicker and never stepped in Cow crap or Sheep crap and you sound about as much use as a flat tyre. So go away and get yourself Certified.

Re: Single serve salad bowls

I wanted to provide some feedback on the Greek salad bowls as you seem to have changed up how you are serving these. You used to, very nicely, separate the feta cheese and olives into separate sachets which is a great idea for those people who like one but not the other. However in the last couple of months you seem to have moved to packaging the feta and olives together which I simply cannot understand. I actually like both olives and feta cheese but a goop of olives and feta marinading together is not nice at all. It changes the texture as well as ruining the taste. Is there any chance you can consider going back to how you used to do it and separate them out?
