Ziegler & Brown Turbo Classic 4 Burner Questions & Answers
VerifiedI am looking at purchasing a new Z and B built in 4 burner classic but the reviews are terrible although most seem to be a few years old. Have they improved to the point it is worth me investing in one.
Hi Phil I have had the unit for a few years now and have become accustomed to the device. I had a BBQ technician come around, and he found an issue with the regulator, which was the leading cause of it not heating up.
Other than that, it has been pretty good. I dropped in some BBQ Briquettes, which also helps to keep the heat. As with all BBQs, it has its higher-temperature and lower-temperature zones.
It's wearing well, only a bit of rust, which was due to my forgetting to cover it before going on holiday. I generally take it apart and give it a good clean every 6 months. Only niggle was that the lid handle came loose. Fixed it by taking the hood apart and replacing the screws for the handle. It was a bit fiddly, but nothing major.
Hope that helps.
Thanks for your help
I am ready to throw away my very expensive Turbo Classic 4 burner it just will not get hot. Any ideas? Have moved the burners to different positions changed bottles and still very disappointed
Are you using natural gas or lpg?
LPG
Me and a friend also have this BBQ, he uses natural gas which doesn't burn as hot, mine however is not much better. Unfortunately its more of an ornament now, we both refer to them as fridges.
