Hi dose any one have a picture of how the fuel lines are ment to connect up from the carburetor to the fuel tank that would be mucky appropriated cheers
I need a new gas tank and I can't find anything for this bike some one please have a idea as to what I can use

I've got a zongshen zs250 it has spark compression and fule but won't start it backfire s through the craborator and that's all any ideas?
my quad has a 250cc engine when I press the start button relay just clicks got brand new starter but still clicks also got new battery still clicks put jump leads straight to starter still just clicks are these engine negative earth or positive earth as both battery leads are same colour black any ideas what it might be?

I have a 2009 250cc zongshen gs it has zero miles was dry stored for 9 years but it will not start,it turns over and that's it. Any ideas?
Check if there is spark. If there is its a fuel issue. Disconnect the stop switch and recheck if there is spark. If your model has a switch on the stand check that. Check fuel is reaching carby. Remove it and see if valve is not sticking. Also check compression.

Hi only just noticed this I have same year bike 03 miles dry stored would only turn over. all checks done traced fault to CDI BOX not available had to get suzuki and modify you could try sticking cdi box in the oven for 3 minutes till hot to touch will not damage unit but may cure a dry joint or it acts as compound acts as a spounge trapping moisture check u tube..works mostly however did not cure my fault.
Zongshen 4 wheel drive Garden Trailer unit. Carburettor drains all petrol once used and at rest. Possibly a needle valve problem. Anyone else had this problem?
Definately needle valve problem. If tank has a shutoff valve turn petrol off and let run dry before storing. Simple to remove carby and check needle valve and float assy. Sometimes the floats are not sanded down and rough edge restricts valve closure.

I just bought zongshen 250gs sports bike the carburetor is broken and I cannot find a carburetor for the life of me so what are here this brand of bike is discontinued please someone help me? I paid $1,800 for this not working bike and all it needs is a carburetor where can I find one please I need help.
Go to a bike wreckers or bike shop with your old car by. Any similar Yamaha part will work as long as it fits on the intake manifold. Just make certain cable hook ups somilar

I have oil coming thru the carburetor into my air filter box and draining out it. Wats the problem, and how can I fix it? (If not for good,then for temporarily)
You might want to make sure our timing valve timing is correct i or valve seats are still good . I own a 250 shongshen engine myself when its cold its a little tricky to start and when stalls alot i get it back fiering into my air filter . Im thinking the timing is out on them from factory buy aproximately one tooth on the timing gear . Might be some thing to check out .
You probably have over filled the sump. Check and drain it out. Check the drain plug magnet for iron filings. If there's no filings wipe clean replace and fill to the level of the glass level omntje side or dipstick if ealier model. Try it again and if problem persists let me know
