I have a 2006 Astra AH cdti 1.9 l diesel. I'm after a oil filter housing cap, the plastic nut section is just about done, tried ebay, no luck, seems as rare as hens teeth. Anybody have a suggestion as to where I can get one
I have a Holden astra CD 2005 When I turn the car on, it’s happening more frequently now PRND123 lights all light up once I try and put the car in drive, it thuds when I try and put the car in drive, and it’s like my car is having a nervous breakdown and doesn’t know what it wants to do, but sometimes this doesn’t even happen I can turn the car on and put it in drive and it’ll play nice. Please help.

Your hub spigot is probably stuck in the rim. It's a machine fit but over time rust can swell the spigot enough to lock it. The only fix is with the wheel jacked up beat the tyre from the inside while rotating the wheel a bit at a time. Once it's off clean the spigot and wheel centre hole with a wire brush, then apply some never seize grease to the lip.
Hi , I have got a Holden Astra AH 2006 Automatic and the Gear Shift Knob need's to be replaced but I can't get a replacement from anywhere . Now my question , can I replace that Knob with a Knob from a 2009 Astra model and if not are there alternatives I can use , such as Universal Gear Shift Knob's ?

I have an Astra 2.2l Twin Top, 2007 build, 04/2008 complied. The positive battery lead end is getting exceedingly hot and is untouchable. Interestingly, starter terminal is cool. The car starts but lead end stays hot. I have cleaned light corrosion from all obvious terminals. Battery was installed on July 2nd 2022. Could this issue be related to starter or alternator? Any thoughts?
My 2008 model had trouble not starting.Someone( mechanic) said ultinator.Turned out to be just top of battery heads? One was sending enough charge.Wasn’t battery either.
My car has a faulty engine air flow management on the diagnostics. When we replaced the part the computer came up with 21 new different faults, including incorrect key and many others. The fault was still there with the air flow so now we are thinking it is the computer. Can the computer be replaced or reprogrammed? If so, who does this?

Hi..i have an 07 Astra Hatch with a non starting issue..on any given day, it will do any 1 of 3 things on turning the key..nothing, or click click click, or just start..ive replaced the battery, the starter motor and the starter relay fuse..cheers
Check your gear shift quadrant switch (in the console) to make sure the start circuit knows it's in park. The switch may be faulty or loose.
I have a ignition problem and I have replaced the battery and the battery in the key also dash lights up as usual when I turn in over or to utilities but it’s not firing or even sound like it wants to. Any idea what the problem might be would be appreciated. Dan
