These are not good. I bought the set and paid extra for the rubber on the handles, thinking this would assist with heat...WRONG.. They heat up… Read more
terribly to the point where you cannot hold in your hand (pot lids) and have had to resort to using a handmit when using. For the price and the name..it's a terrible disappointment

This is our second one, the first was replaced under warranty for the non stick going all funny with food constantly sticking. This one has failed… Read more
too but for a completely different reason. There is stainless steel disc that is bonded to the bottom of the pan (I assume for induction compatibility) and it has delaminated from the body of the pan. This means now that our induction cooktop will only heat a small circular section in the middle of the pan where the metal disc on the bottom is still bonded. Scanpan has rejected our warranty claim on the basis (they say) that we have been cooking on too high a temperature (not correct). This was not a cheap item ($300 plus) so the lack of support is disappointing, it has up until now been a favorite pan to cook with but I definitely won’t be buying another one. If you don’t cook on induction and you can look after the non stick surface it would probably be fine but after my personal experience I couldn’t recommend this pan.

Fantastic and quality – Very well, this product I just saw online and purchased it months ago. I have been using this everyday and glad I have the great set.
Was losing pressure, and cooking until dry, Replaced valve, good now – Boiled it dry thee times until I realised, it will do it every time, cooks dry, leaks pressure if you dont physically lift the centre pressure valve… Read more
once its up to pressure, then you hear the outside presure relief valve lift into position and seal. It's an expensive pressure cooker, and you shouldnt need to have a work arround to use it.
Have just replaced the main centre pressure relief valve, worked perfectly. I must say the Distributors hve been fantastic since I posted this review, and have requested I send the cooker back, as an easier option I was sent replacements for all the 4 pressure relief valves, so far so good Ill run it a few times and then change this review

THE BOTTOM PEELS – The SCAN PAN roasting pan is a go to pan for me. However, I have had to return the pan twice because the bottom peels. The pan must be returned to… Read more
California and being on the east coast, the postage is expensive. I feel like I am paying for the pan over and over again. When intact, I love the way it cooks but having to repeatedly return the pan is disappointing, inconvenient and expensive.
I suggest you avoid these pans. Please see photos. They are very expensive for a product that simply does not perform as advertised. We had two… Read more
significant issues. Contacted Scanpan through the retailer ‘Nile’ to give them an opportunity to remedy. They refused to honour the warranties they state themselves. 1. Food sticks. Scanpan avoids warranty obligations by stating this as “carbon buildup” by this they mean ‘food that has stuck’ and is too hard to clean off. Ridiculous. The retailer, to their credit, offered me partial compensation due to Scanpans refusal to honour their non-stick claims. 2. Delamination. The bottom of the pan has separated. This is clearly a manufacturing fault. Scanpan claimed that we must have ‘overheated the pan’ which we have definitely not. Never been over level 8 on an induction hob. And very short cooking times at home. Overall, very disappointing and a lot of money for something I cannot use. Avoid at all costs. If you don’t put food in the pan, and don’t heat the pan, could be OK…..problems only occurred after i did these two things.
If you are looking for a high quality alternative, I suggest buying a “carbon steel pan”. These are… Read more

Sadly, the pink middle wheel reached its maximum use and could no longer be used. So I check for replacement wheel parts. No, none. So I have to throw out the whole unit.
Now the reason for the one star. Go to page 5 of their catalogue and they talk about sustainability. Really you corporate hypocrites. No replacement parts, have to throw out a whole unit and you have the audacity to talk to us about your sustainability and that there is no planet B.
Well, I bought a GLOBAL brand similar sharpener and lo and behold they have replacement parts. At least they don't display hypocrisy like scanpathetic.
I was unable to source spare part wheels originally for… Read more (+1 reply)
Great knife set on clearance – I was recently in the market for a new knife set and wanted something that would last and stay sharp. The ScanPan knife set for the clearance price… Read more
caught my eye. It has every knife I need, from short blades, serrated and includes scissors. The knives feel sturdy with no screws or attachments that might come loose. The knife block isn’t the most attractive on the market but you are paying a great price for a premium product. So far the knives have passed every test over the last few weeks and I would recommend.
Total waste of money – Brushed stainless steel exterior and lid surround looks great on brand new pan. One use and it looks hideous. All stained and even attempting to… Read more
clean with my favourite fix all cleaner Gumption still cannot clean. General construction is quite good but the screw that holds the lid handle looks like the quality you’d see on a $2 pan not a $700 pan. Poorly designed and wrecked by assembly with pointy metal ‘spikes’ grabbing onto washcloth. Reviews submitted to scanpan.com.au do not get approved so you never see the negative feedback.
Update 8Nov23. ScanPan (Sheldon and Hammond) sent replacement lid under warranty. IT WAS WORSE THAN ORIGINAL. The handle screw was far more wrecked and had pointy metal spikes. I decided to just fix myself so took handle of lid to file/sand screw face down to remove all metal spikey bits. Quality of assembly shocking with it just being forced in out of alignment and tearing rubber grommet. See pics. Following night cooked some kransky snags (melamine spatula, oxo good grips rubber end tongs). A piece of the non-stick surface just broke away. See pic. as you can see if not a scratch from any metal cookware. Send pics to Sheldon and Hammond but no response at all.
DO NOT BUY THIS PAN OR ANY CS+ PRODUCTS.

Expensive and not much better than its competitors – The scanpan coating wore away after 10 yrs of use just after the warranty expired. I wonder why a premium should be paid for an item which is no better than an ordinary non stick pan. Please see the photo below

The skillets get a daily workout and really hold the heat so low burner is all you often need. I made a frittata in the roaster. Started on hob and finished under Grill. So easy and just slid right out. Good browning and absolutely non stick. Easy clean. Peters of Kensington had the best price with great delivery
